Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury returned from his sixth “retirement” with a 12-roumd unanimous decision over Aslanbek Makhmudov in front of over 50,000 at Tottenham-Hotspur Stadium in London.

Fury, 267.9 lbs of London won by scores of 120-108 twice and 119-109 and is now 35-2-1. Makhmudov, 264.9 lbs of Montreal is 21-3.

After the fight Fury and Turki Al-Sheika called Anthony Joshua into the ring but Joshua declined.

Benn Decisions Prograis

Conor Benn won a 10-round unanimous decision over former two-time world champion Regis Prograis in a welterweight fight.

In round five, Benn was cut over his left eye.

In round six, Benn was cut over his right eye from an accidental headbutt.

Benn, 149.6 lbs of Ilford, ENG won by scores of 98-92 on all cards and is now 25-1. Prograis, 148.6 lbs of Houston is 30-4.

Richard Riakporhe stopped Jeamie Tshkeva (TKE) in round five of their 10-round British Heavyweight title fight

In round two, Tshikeva was bleeding from his nose. In round five, Riakporhe landed a big right hand that put Shikeva down. Later in round five, Riakporhe landed a huge flurry that featured six wicked rights and two left hooks and the fight was stopped at 2:12.

Huni Decisions Clarke By Majority Decision

Justis Huni won a 10-round majority decision over Frazer Clarke in a heavyweight bout.

Huni, 246.14 lbs of Brisbane, AUS won by scores of 96-94 twice and 95-95 and is now 13-1. Clarke, 259.12 lbs of Burton-On-Treat, UK is 9-3.

Breyon Gorham stopped Eduardo Costa in round five of their eight-round junior welterweight bout.

In round one, Gorham dropped Costa with a chopping right to the head.

In round five, Gorham hurt Costa with a right to the jaw and followed up with an uppercut that set off five lefts to the chin and the fight was stopped at 1:51.

Mikey Tallon stopped Leandro Blanc in the opening round of their eight-round super flyweight bout.

Felix Cash stopped Liam O’Hare in round two of a 10-round middleweight fight.

In round one, Cash dropped O’Hare with a counter right. Seconds later, a flurry that was finished off by a right put O’Hare down again. Early in round two, Cash landed a big right that put O’Hare made O’Hare crouch his legs and the fight was stopped at 22 seconds

Sultan Almohammed stopped Hector Lozano in round three of a four-round junior lightweight bout.

‘Billion Dollar Baby’ Francesca Hennessy from Kent makes her debut on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Saturday, October 25, headlining the first primetime fight of BBC Sport’s new partnership with BOXXER. She’ll take centre stage ahead of the blockbuster British Heavyweight Championship clash between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV.

Dubbed the ‘Billion Dollar Baby’ due to her early entrance into professional boxing, at just 20 years old Hennessy is unbeaten in her first six professional fights and has already carved out a reputation as one of British boxing’s most rapidly rising new female talents.

Known for her bold ring walks and her fearless fighting style, she’s a natural show-stealer and has said she’s looking forward to starring on her biggest stage yet with the nation watching live. Hennessy will square off against former world champion Fabiana Bytyqi (22-2-2, 5 KOs) which will make for the biggest challenge of her career to date.

Bytyqi made history becoming the first female world champion from Czechia when claiming the WBC Atomweight Title in September 2018. The 29-year-old went on to successfully defend her belt multiple times during a six-year reign before moving up to the bantamweight division.

Both fighters enter the bout on the back of career-best performances. Dalton secured the English title with a hard-fought majority decision over Ben Vaughn, while Kodua claimed the Southern Area belt with an impressive tenth-round TKO victory over Daniel Francis.

With pride, legacy and future opportunities on the line, both men will be eager to prove they are England’s number one welterweight and to take another step forward in their careers.

Manchester’s undefeated Mauro Silva (9-0, 4 KOs) hasn’t put a foot wrong since turning professional. The 23-year-old, who is managed by Chris Eubank Jr, impressed in his most recent outing with a dominant fourth-round stoppage of Omir Rodriguez in Barnsley.

He now faces the toughest test of his career to date, stepping up in class to take on Coventry’s Bradley Goldsmith (13-1, 9 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight contest.

Goldsmith, who trains out of the renowned Ingle Gym in Sheffield, delivered a gutsy performance earlier this year in a thrilling fight with Troy Coleman for the Midlands Area Title.

The 27-year-old had Coleman hurt in the sixth round, but a dramatic turnaround saw Goldsmith suffer his first professional defeat. Eager to return to title contention, Goldsmith will be looking to make a statement with a win over the unbeaten Silva.

Former world title challenger Jack Massey (22-3, 12 KOs) also returns to action following his courageous attempt at Jai Opetaia’s IBF World Cruiserweight Title last year. In a very competitive and high-stakes battle of undefeated light heavyweights, Joshua Buatsi won a 12-round unanimous decision over Dan Azeez at The Ovo Arena in London.

The fighters took turning taking rounds early as Azeez looked ti get inside and land power shots, while Buatsi was able to set up his power shots behind a long jab.

In round 11, Buatsi dropped Azeez with a right hand. At the end of the round, Azeez went down again when a left landed and Azeez went down on his front. In round 12, Buatsi rocked Azeez across the ring

Buatsi landed 228 of 841 punches. Azeez was 159 of 713.

Buatsi, 174 lbs of London won by scores of 117-109 and 116-112 twice and is now 18-0. Azeez, 172.3 lbs of London is now 20-1.

Adam Azim remained undefeated with a fifth round stoppage over Enock Poulsen

In round five, Azim put Poulson down with a left hand. Poulson complained of a right shoulder injury and the bout was stopped at 2:39.

Ben Whittaker remained undefeated with a five-round beatdown of Khalid Graidia in a scheduled eight-round light heavyweight bout.

RZESZOW, POLAND – (Saturday, April 22) – After hammering ‘The Hulk’ in less than two rounds and handing the previously-undefeated Ukrainian heavyweight his first stoppage loss, Martin Bakole (19-1, 14 KO’s)  called out some of the division’s biggest names to face him in the ring next.

Making his official BOXXER debut, Bakole stopped the previously undefeated ‘Ukrainian Hulk’ Ihor Shevadzutsky (10-1, 8 KO’s) at 0:45 of the second round, demonstrating exactly why he is the most avoided heavyweight on the planet.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Bakole is a son of the hereditary ruler of the Kananga province and brother of former WBC world cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu, who is next in line for throne. 

For the last four years he has been based in Ayrshire, where he trains under the stewardship of Billy Nelson, hence his nickname ‘The Next King of Scotland’. In keeping with his royal heritage, Bakole has his eyes on the heavyweight crown and wants a huge heavyweight showdown to be his next step towards that. 

Speaking to Sky Sports, Bakole said: “I want Dillian Whyte, Daniel Dubois, Oleksandr Usyk. Why not? I call people out because I know I can stop them! I made a big statement tonight. I was the first guy to stop [Hulk]. This guy has never been stopped before, I was the first to stop him.”

Making light work of Polish native Michal Boloz (now 5-5, 2 KO’s), the London fighter scored the third knockout win of his young professional career to take his record to five wins from five fights, with three of those wins by knockout. 

Body shots were the key to victory, a rare sight in the professional heavyweight ranks, with TKV digging for gold repeatedly in Boloz’s midriff before finally folding him in half and sending him through the ring ropes during the fight-ending sequence.

“I started a bit slow, he had weight behind his punches so I needed to be smart. I knew if I caught him in the body nicely, he was going to go,” TKV told Sky Sports reporter Andy Scott at ringside post-fight.

“I’ve got more to show, more to come. I want more fights, more experience. I hope the guys at home enjoyed that knockout.”

In the main event, presented in association with Knockout Promotions, hometown hero Lukasz Rozanski (15-0, 14 KO’s) made short work of Croatian wildman Alen ‘The Savage’ Babic (11-1, 10 KO’s) to claim the inaugural WBC World Bridgerweight Championship in front of a partisan crowd in the sold-out G2A Arena.

This was never going to go the distance – both fighters are gunslingers who favour all-out aggression and eschew defence – but the first-round finish was still surprising in its ferocity. 

Rozanski found his mark first and Babic never fully recovered, being put on the back foot almost instantly and suffering a storm of heavy leather which did not relent until the referee waved the fight off at 2.10 of the second round.

Earlier in the evening, Birmingham’s Steed Woodall (18-1-1-, 11 KO’s) survived a brief wobble late in the fight to take a unanimous decision over Boris Crighton (11-3, 7 KO’s) in a bout which was closely fought for all of its eight rounds.

Caroline Dubois leads the star-studded travelling party to Rzeszów, along with brand new BOXXER signing Martin Bakole and fellow heavyweight Jeamie TKV – with Alen Babic headlining, live and exclusively in the UK & Republic of Ireland on Sky Sports, when he faces Lukasz Rozanski for the vacant WBC World Bridgerweight title. 

Trained by Shane McGuigan, rising superstar Dubois (6-0, 5 KOs) blasted her way through Feriche Mashaury at the OVO Wembley Arena in February to make another emphatic stride in her burgeoning career.

Mashaury has fought the likes of Chantelle Cameron and Terri Harper and took recently crowned British Boxer of the Year Natasha Jonas the distance in 2019.

But former Team GB hero Dubois, 22, made light work of her Tanzania rival and dispatched her inside two destructive rounds. An opponent for April 22 will be named in due course.

The ‘Next King of Scotland’ Martin Bakole (18-1-0, 13 KOs) will make his highly-anticipated BOXXER debut when he takes on unbeaten Ukrainian, Ihor Shevadzutskyi (10-0, 8 KOs) in a battle of the behemoths. 

Bakole signed a long-term deal with BOXXER back in February. And the Ayrshire-based heavyweight, who is ranked highly by the WBA, will be out to make a major statement when he collides with a man nicknamed ‘the Hulk’, who has wins over Kevin Johnson and Kamil Sokolowski on his CV.

Standing at a menacing 6ft 6in, Bakole hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he was born a prince to the son of the ruler of the Kananga province. His brother is former WBC World Cruiserweight king, Ilunga Makabu.

His record is as impressive as his stature, having won 18 professional fights including his last in May 2022 when he celebrated a majority decision victory over Tony Yoka in the Rio 2016 Olympic champion’s homeland in Paris, France.

Bakole’s only defeat was in 2018 to American heavyweight Michael Hunter. But he has responded with seven successive wins since – five of which were knockouts, including triumphs against Kevin Johnson and Mariusz Wach.

Another impressive heavyweight on the fight card in Rzeszów is Jeamie TKV (4-0, 2 KOs).

The undefeated Londoner has made a great impression with BOXXER, enjoying four wins – including his breathtaking points victory over Harry Armstrong last month.

The 29-year-old has been training in Texas and can now look forward to his first fight outside of his capital city when he travels to Poland next month.

Completing the line-up will be a hotly-contested main event which sees the popular Croatian knockout artist, Alen ‘The Savage’ Babic (11-0, 10 KOs) battle Poland’s own Lukasz Rozanski (14-0, 13 KOS) for the vacant WBC World Bridgerweight Championship.
