Albert Ramirez Retains Interim Light Heavyweight Title with Split Decision over Richards

Albert Ramirez remained undefeated and retained the WBA Interim Light Heavyweight Title with a 12-round split decision over Lerone Richards at The Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada.

It was a tactical fight that saw Richards befuddle Ramirez.

Ramirez,174.7 lbs of El Vega, VEN took two cards by 115-113 twice and Richards took a card 116-112.

Imam Khataev stopped Mickeal Diallo in the opening round of their 10-round light heavyweight bout.

With both guys throwing right hands, Diallo’s landed and the glove of Khataev touched the canvas. Seconds later, Khataev landed a hard right that bout Diallo. Diallo looked at his corner and wanted no more and the fight was stopped at 3:00.
