MIKE LEANARDI QUOTES:

On MVPW-04:

“MVPW-04…sold out crowd from the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. Four world title fights, a couple of big upsets, and lots and lots of action. I hope everyone enjoyed the show. It’s our first W show in here in Orlando and in Florida.”

On selling out MVPW-04:

“We sold out. It’s a testament to the tremendous women’s product that MVP is putting on.”

OSHAE JONES QUOTES:

On her feelings about her draw vs. Elia Carranza:

“It’s really frustrating and discouraging. I worked so hard this fight to change my style and make it more clearer for the win, and it’s just unfortunate that the judges didn’t see it.”

On whether she’d face Elia Carranza in a trilogy bout:

“I want to move on. I don’t want to continue fighting her. I feel like I keep giving her the opportunity to be on TV and take my belts. When she fights me, these are the biggest fights she’s ever had, so I feel like she needs to be grateful that I’m even giving her the opportunity. I wouldn’t recommend another fighter.”

On the biggest difference between her two bouts with Elia Carranza:

“I feel like the biggest difference was me. I was 100% physically and mentally. The first fight, I had a couple of things, like personal things, that I had to overcome, and I feel like my training was great. I was in a three-month camp.”

On the difference in Elia Carranza’s fighting style compared to their first bout:

“I felt like she was kind of reserved this time. She was more cautious this time, and it was more of a back-and-forth chess match, unlike last time. It was like a brawl.”

On doing a longer camp than usual:

“I usually do camp for six to eight weeks, but this camp I did for three months because it was a big platform and I didn’t want to make any mistakes.”

On her preparation for the bout:

“We did everything we were supposed to do to get the win. I worked so hard. I meditated this camp. I was just so focused this camp. It was just different.”

On her promotional debut with MVP:

“It was amazing to be with MVP for my pro debut. I feel like I did great. I feel like I performed the best I ever have yet in my pro career.”

On fighting on ESPN:

“It was so exciting to be on ESPN+, one of the biggest platforms for sports, period. I’m so honored to be here and to be a part of MVP because they’re really changing women’s lives.”

TIARA BROWN QUOTES:

On who she’ll fight next:

“I want big names. Whatever opportunity arises for me, whatever my team says, whatever this guy [Mike Leanardi] right here says, and the WBC. I will defend this belt.”

On her plans for the future:

“I would like to fight for more belts in the featherweight division. I think I’ve proven tonight that I’m here and that I’m not going anywhere.”

On wanting to become undisputed at 126 lbs:

“I do want to chase greatness and fight for the other belts, and once I get them, I would like to move up, once I’m done at 126, and move up to 130 lbs.”

On her dedication to boxing:

“I was born to box. I eat, sleep, dream, and think about boxing 365 days a year. I don’t take a break. I think I’ll take a break once I retire, so until then I’m chasing greatness.”

On her conditioning:

“My conditioning is really good. I believe in preparation, and I believe if you stay ready, you never have to get ready.”

On how she trains:

“I always train like I’m the underdog. Every time. I don’t overlook anyone. I don’t care if the opponent has one fight. I train as if she’s the best fighter on the planet.”

On her promotional debut with MVP:

“I’m just so blessed and highly favored to be a part of this promotion. Jake Paul…hats off to him. He’s done something that all of these promoters for over a decade have said cannot be done. They said no one watches women’s boxing, that there’s no fan base and no money there. Then a YouTuber came along and said, ‘I believe in them. I’m going to give them a chance.’ And that’s exactly what he’s done. I’m so grateful that he’s believed in me and allowed me to be a part of this promotion company.”

On dedicating this fight to a former student:

“A lot of you know that this fight was in honor of my fighter that I trained, Landen, who took his life on Valentine’s Day. I stayed focused round by round, and I just kept saying his name in my mind. I just kept saying Landen. It was making me want to dig deeper and give all that I have.”

On thanking her supporters:

“This was my first time in my professional career fighting in Florida. I’m from Ft Myers, which is about three hours away from here. I’m so grateful for all the fans, friends, and family that came and drove up here to watch me fight.”

ESTEFANY ALEGRIA QUOTES:

***All quotes have been translated from Spanish to English.

On becoming unified WBO, WBA, and IBF light flyweight world champion:

“I feel very happy about this moment and to achieve my dream of becoming a world champion. Not just one title, but three titles. This represents a lot not only for me, but for my team, and my parents. I’m very excited.”

On how she felt when she won her titles:

“It’s something that’s hard to explain, but there is a lot of emotion. Lots of happiness and motivation for what’s to come in the future.”

On thanking her supporters and team:

“I appreciate God, my promoter, and also the person who has been with me moving my career since the first day: Giber Lopez.”

On being an underdog:

“The victory means a lot more when they don’t believe in you. We’re here to show that dreams do come true and everything is possible.”

On what’s next for her:

“First of all, I want to take a nice break and we’ll see what’s coming forth for me and it’s going to be important for me. I’ll let me promoter figure that out.”

On her fighting style:

“I’m a versatile fighter. I like to mix it up and fight at close distance and go toe to toe, but also box from the outside.”

On fighting in Florida:

“This was another example of what I do fighting here in Florida. I’m very appreciative of the people in Florida for supporting me.”

“I’m going to be honest with you guys. I had already dreamed that moment. I actually cried in my dream. I felt a lot of emotions that I knew I was going to feel at that point. It was the moment that I have been working so hard for all this time in my career.”

On preparing to face Jasmine Artiga:

“We hired a left handed sparring partner who had a similar style to [Jasmine] Artiga.”

On if she’d to a rematch vs. Jasmine Artiga:

“Whatever happens I don’t have a problem. I would rather do a unification with Irma Garcia.”

On being Jasmine Artiga’s mandatory challenger:

“I got this opportunity because of hard work and discipline. That’s the result.”

On making her US debut live on ESPN:

“It’s a dream come true, and what a way to do it. One of the best promoters at the moment, filled with many champions, so I had to show what I’m made out of and I did it. ”

On MVP planning to welcome Delgado back to the promotion for her next fight:

“Thank you for the space, and I have so much more to offer.”

On being an underdog:

“No matter where you are, dreams can become true.”

On her husband, who trains her, not being able to attend the fight:

“We knew the work that we had to deliver. We did a great preparation. Of course him not being here meant a lot to me. I wanted him to be here, but I knew that I came here for a reason and we did it.”

JULLY POCA QUOTES:

On her message to her supporters:

“First of all, I won! Nice. Thank you for all your support. Thank you for everything.”

On her camp:

“I’m training with the American girls. I’ve done good sparring. I trained with Katie Taylor, you know? So, I’m learning a lot.”

On training with Katie Taylor:

“She texted me on Instagram and said, ‘Good work.’ I’ve done many sparring sessions with her, and she’s tough. She’s amazing. When she beat my face the first time, I said, ‘Thank you so much. You’re amazing.'”

On her history with martial arts:

“I started martial arts a long time ago when I was a kid. I had a hard life in Brazil, and I am a woman, and women have an obligation to protect themselves.”

On her past viral video:

“Martial arts for me is important, and for women is important. I always say on my Instagram and on my social media that if you’re a woman, you need to protect yourself. I had the event with the Uber because I can beat the guy, and I know how to protect myself.”

On representing Brazil:

“I’m a Brazilian woman, and I feel just so fucking happy! That’s it.”

On Keno Marley’s first-round TKO over Jordan Gruszewski:

“He trained with me in Brazil. I’ve been sparring with him, so seeing him [Marley] knock him [Gruszewski] out was amazing.”

Originally Brazil’s premier female fitness influencer, her life took a sharp turn in 2023 when she was invited to compete in the UK alongside megastar Whindersson Nunes. Under the tutelage of renowned coach Antonio Filho, the mentor behind former WBO champion Rose Volante, Poca has solidified her status by going undefeated to date and is now set to make her fully sanctioned professional debut with Most Valuable Promotions. Beyond her technical prowess, Jully possesses a magnetic public profile built on genuine courage. She first captured the Brazilian public’s heart when she intervened in a violent road-rage incident, physically subduing a man who was attacking two women until police arrived. This act of heroism, combined with her athletic transition, has earned her a massive digital footprint. With 3 million Instagram followers, Poca is set to become the most-followed female professional boxer in the world the moment she makes her pro debut, bridging the gap between social media stardom and elite combat sports.

“She asked for a rematch, I said let’s do it,” said Jully Poca. “Some stories need to have a definite ending, that’s what I’m coming to do. I’m excited to make my debut in Orlando and hope to see the local Brazilian community come out to support on Saturday, June 13!”

“Rubi Gutierrez is a great opponent to step back in the ring with,” said LeAnna Cruz. “She has a SD loss against a future world champion and is not afraid to lose or for a challenge. I have a ton of respect for her coming up two  weight classes to share the ring with me, but on Saturday, June 13th she’ll learn that was a huge mistake.”

Rubi “La Panterita” Gutierrez is a 20-year-old rising contender from Saltillo, Mexico. She is currently on a three-fight winning streak, most recently earning a unanimous decision victory in April 2026.

WBA #1 contender at 118lbs Brittany “Eagle Flex” Sims has engineered one of the most impressive turnarounds in women’s boxing, having transformed her career from a 1–3 start into a formidable 9–3 record, highlighted by her current eight-fight winning streak. A well-rounded athlete, Sims brings a diverse background in MMA and track and field, tools that have helped shape her explosiveness, conditioning, and ring IQ. She also dominated in the TCL league, where she put together an incredible 16-fight winning streak. Trained by Lemuel Rodriguez and managed by Dave Dubinsky of DKO and fighting out of Bethlehem, Sims now looks ahead to the next chapter of her career with Most Valuable Promotions.

“Cardenas is not someone to overlook. She is a great boxer, and I have a lot of respect for her and her team. That being said, my team and I have been working extremely hard every day. I’m prepared, focused, and ready for the moment,” said Brittany Sims. “May I be swift like an eagle, strong like a lion, and fight with the strength of ten men. It’s almost time to fly.”

Naomy Cardenas is a 26-year-old boxer from Chihuahua, Mexico. Cardenas made her international debut in June 2025 as part of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 13, winning by split decision. Following the bout, she stepped up to contend for the WBO super flyweight world title, losing by decision to reigning champion Mizuki Hiruta. She most recently rebounded with a UD win in March 2026.

“I’m very happy for the opportunity MVP is once again giving me,” said Cardenas. “I know I have a strong and intelligent opponent in front of me, which will make for an even better fight because of the contrast in styles. I have had great preparation behind me and I’m coming in with the hunger for victory.”

19-time US national champion Sa’Rai Brown-El comes from a proud lineage of fighters and was born into boxing royalty, but her rise wasn’t guaranteed. Her mother first saw her spark, despite early resistance from her father and coach, who didn’t believe boxing was a sport for women. Everything changed during a family trip to her birthplace in Albany, NY when a visit to her uncle’s boxing gym flipped the script. Once Brown-El stepped into the ring, her natural talent spoke louder than tradition ever could, and her father never looked back. She began boxing at the age of 10. What followed was a journey defined by relentless discipline, a powerful work ethic, and a fierce hunger to master the craft of boxing. That fire drove her to the top of the amateur ranks, where she became the first female boxer from Georgia to win both the Junior Olympics and the National Silver Gloves. Within a year, she had become a national champion, marking the beginning of her dominance. By age 14, she had cemented her name in history as one of the most decorated young female boxers in the country, ranked #1 in her age and weight class by USA Boxing and holding the most wins across all female divisions at the time. In 2019, she earned a coveted spot on Team USA after winning the USA Boxing National Championships, becoming the first female boxer from Georgia to achieve those honors. A five-time international medalist and seven-time Georgia Female Boxer of the Year, Brown-El’s excellence has not gone unnoticed. USA Boxing named her the future of women’s boxing—a title that carries weight, and one she’s ready to live up to. With her amateur legacy cemented, the 19-year-old now joins MVP’s elite roster of women’s fighters ahead of her professional debut this year, entering into the professional ranks with one goal: to take over women’s boxing.

WBA and WBO #12 ranked contender Jordan Orozco Hernandez will also join the undercard. He boasts a fearsome 100% KO ratio on his 16-0 record, with 16 knockouts. The 21-year-old Nicaraguan bantamweight most recently earned a second round TKO win over Daniel Olea in March. Orozco will face Fernando Diaz. Before turning pro, Toledo, Ohio-born Jones built one of the most distinguished amateur résumés in modern U.S. boxing history as a multiple-time USA Boxing national champion and a long-standing member of Team USA, consistently competing against—and defeating—the best amateurs in the world. Her amateur career culminated with winning a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games, cementing her status as one of the premier international boxers of her generation. Her style blends sharp fundamentals with controlled aggression, allowing her to dictate fights and neutralize opponents’ strengths. The 28-year-old Jones currently holds the IBF world title and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She was ranked #23 among ESPN’s best women’s boxers of 2025 following her tightly-contested world title defense against Elia Carranza in July 2025. Now, the pair face off in a rematch with Carranza as mandatory challenger.

“As an Olympic medalist and current world champion, I’m beyond excited and truly honored for the opportunity to fight on ESPN and MVP, the biggest and best platform in women’s boxing,” said Oshae Jones. “This isn’t just another fight for me; it’s a moment to help elevate the sport, inspire the next generation, and create opportunities that will change countless lives. MVP’s reigning WBC featherweight world champion Tiara Brown holds a career built on an exceptional amateur pedigree, technical excellence, and championship-level discipline. Long before capturing world honors in the professional ranks, Brown established herself as one of the most accomplished amateurs in the United States. A highly-decorated amateur, Brown was a multiple-time US national champion, competing at the highest levels of USA Boxing and consistently defeating top-tier competition across the country, culminating with a gold medal at the 2012 amateur world championships. That foundation seamlessly translated into the pro ranks, where her experience, composure, and adaptability have set her apart on the world stage. Brown’s style is defined by speed, sharp fundamentals, and intelligent pressure. She is equally comfortable boxing off the back foot or engaging in high-paced exchanges, making her one of the most technically sound and versatile fighters in women’s boxing today. Representing Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s proud boxing tradition, Brown defeated Skye Nicholson in March 2025 to claim the WBC featherweight title before successfully defending the belt against Emma Gongara in September 2025. She is currently ranked Boxrec’s #17 pound-for-pound female fighter and was ranked #16 among ESPN’s best women’s boxers of 2025.

“Saturday, June 13th, I’m going to show the world why I should never be overlooked and taken lightly,” said Tiara Brown. “I am The Dark Menace!”

Hannah Rapp was born and raised in Yorktown, Indiana, where she grew up as a multi-sport athlete competing in soccer, basketball, softball, cross country, and track & field. She went on to attend Purdue University, where she ran track as a walk-on for two years before being cut from the roster during the COVID-19 pandemic. Later that year, she entered treatment for an eating disorder. After completing treatment in 2021, Rapp walked into her first boxing gym and immediately fell in love with the sport. Rapp graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Ecological Engineering and went on to build a boxing career, competing in eight amateur bouts before turning professional in April 2024. Early in her career, she relocated to Texas and captured the NABF featherweight title in just her fourth professional fight, working with Coach Carl Perry and manager Ryan Karl. Since first stepping into a boxing gym, Rapp has been driven by the goal of becoming a world champion. She remains focused on reaching her full potential, confident that her natural ability, strong support system, and passion for the sport will carry her to the highest level.

“This is the moment I’ve been dreaming of and preparing for since the first day I walked into a boxing gym almost five years ago,” said Hannah Rapp. “I am thrilled to finally have the opportunity to show the world who Hanarchy is. Tiara Brown is a worthy opponent, and I know she will bring out the best of my abilities.”

“MVPW-04 is another powerful statement from MVP as the definitive global powerhouse in women’s boxing, as we continue to showcase the deepest, most elite roster in the sport,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “With world-class champions Oshae Jones, Tiara Brown, Jasmine Artiga, and Evelin Bermudez defending their titles against top contenders and mandatory challengers live on ESPN+, this card embodies exactly what MVPW was built for: high-stakes, world championship matchups featuring the best fighting the best. This event also proudly shines an international spotlight on Brazil’s boxing scene, featuring the highly anticipated professional debut of Jully Poca and the return of two-time Olympian Keno Marley. We look forward to bringing another unforgettable night of MVP boxing back to Orlando alongside our valued longtime partners at Caribe Royale Resort on Saturday, June 13.”

WBA super flyweight world champion and Tampa, Florida’s first native-born world champion Jasmine “Animal” Artiga transitioned from playing gridiron in the Legends Football League to boxing at age 21, quickly carving out an impressive resume. After 13 unbeaten bouts, including a first round TKO win on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects series in February 2024, she stormed into the spotlight on March?22,?2025, winning the vacant WBA female super flyweight title via majority decision over Mexico’s Regina Chávez. Artiga, Tampa’s first native world champion, was recently honored with a city proclamation from Mayor Jane Castor, honoring her athletic achievements and commitment to community mentorship. Standing 5?4? with a 64? reach, the 33-year-old Artiga continues to build momentum as one of women’s boxing’s hungriest new champions. She made her first successful world title defense with a TKO win on MVP Fight Night in August 2025, and defended her title again against challenger Stephanie Silva in December 2025.

“No talking, no glitz, no glamour,” said Jasmine Artiga. “Just no mercy. This is for my grandma. It’s time to take over.”

Evelin “La Princesita” Bermúdez is one of the most dominant figures in women’s boxing today. Born in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, she comes from a distinguished boxing lineage as the sister of former four-division world champion Daniela Bermúdez. Evelin currently holds the WBO, IBF, and WBA world titles at 108 pounds. Her rise to prominence was cemented in 2018, when she captured her first world title against Mexico’s Guadalupe Bautista. Since then, she has successfully defended her reign, solidifying her place among the pound-for-pound elite. She has headlined historic fights both in Argentina and abroad, becoming a key figure in the resurgence of women’s boxing in her country. Most recently, she delivered a statement performance, knocking out Canada’s Sara Bailey in just one round on the road, claiming her WBA title and becoming the unified world champion. Bermudez continues to build her legacy, proving that her nickname reflects not only her family heritage, but also the elegance and authority with which she rules her division on the global stage.

“I’m excited to have my next fight scheduled for Saturday, June 13 in Orlando. This will be the first defense of my WBO, IBF, and WBA titles—and, God willing, a key step toward becoming the undisputed champion,” said Evelin Bermudez. “I’m training as hard as I do for every fight, focused on pushing my limits. I’m sharpening my best weapons and adding new ones to keep my opponents guessing in the ring.”

A boxer since the age of 12, inspired by her older brother, Estefany Alegría Osorio always aimed to follow in his footsteps, eventually surpassing his accomplishments. She enjoyed a standout amateur career, becoming a two-time Mexican National Champion at the National Olympics in 2019 and 2020 before turning professional in 2021 with a victory. The Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico native remained undefeated for four years, scoring wins over top-level opponents such as Linda Contreras and Tania García, the latter earning her the WBA Latin minimumweight title. Her unbeaten run came to an unexpected halt in 2024 against Melanie Sarmiento, but she quickly avenged the loss just months later with a clear unanimous decision victory. In 2025, she showcased her elite level by defeating former WBC Silver world champion Ángela Nolasco in a dominant performance. She further solidified her status this past March in an all-out war against Danna Paola Alanís, capturing the WBC Silver world title and propelling herself to the top of the rankings across the major sanctioning bodies worldwide.

“I’m very happy and it’s a dream come true to be fighting for a world title,” said Estafany Alegria. “It’s been years of hard work and finally on Saturday, June 13 I will become world champion. There’s nothing stopping me. I’m in the best time of my career. Bermudez is a great champ but she’s not stopping me.”

Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, Jully Poca is a powerhouse athlete who has dominated the crossover boxing scene with an undefeated record. Originally Brazil’s premier female fitness influencer, her life took a sharp turn in 2023 when she was invited to compete in the UK alongside megastar Whindersson Nunes. Despite only training for three months prior to her debut, she discovered a profound passion for the sport and has spent the last three years training exclusively as a full-time boxer.

“I can’t wait for my MVP and professional boxing debut! This has been such a wild ride so far and I feel like it’s just starting,” said Jully Poca. “I have been making some huge adjustments to my training camp and I am sure everyone will be shocked to see my new best version in action!”

He first made a name for himself at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, taking home the gold medal and becoming the first Brazilian boxer to achieve this feat. The next year, Marley earned silver at the 2019 Pan American championships. He earned a place on Brazil’s Olympic team, qualifying to compete in the men’s light heavyweight event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and finishing as a quarter-finalist in a narrow 3-2 defeat to Britain’s Benjamin Whittaker, the eventual silver medalist. At the 2021 amateur world championships, Marley fought in the IBA cruiserweight division and earned the silver medal, before becoming the 2022 Brazilian national amateur champion. In 2023, Marley won the prestigious Strandja Tournament, the biggest championship on the European circuit, becoming the first Brazilian man to reach the final and win the title before winning silver at the 2023 Pan American Games. He continued his amateur sprint as he returned to represent Brazil again at the Paris 2024 Olympics in the men’s heavyweight division, once again reaching the quarter finals. Outside boxing, Marley faced two difficult losses in 2021, losing his older brother to murder and his cousin to suicide. He now actively serves as a third sergeant in the Brazilian Army, holds a university degree in physical education, and is currently completing a law degree. He trains out of the Brazilian Olympic Training Center and is co-managed by Brazil’s biggest influencer, multi-talented superstar Whindersson Nunes. He resides in São Paulo, Brazil.

“After my pro debut, I was already waiting for MVP to call and give me the date. Now to have this one set, I’m ready to keep showing the world that I’m ready for the highest level,” said Keno Marley. “Everyone can expect a big performance from me and I will be looking for the KO from the first second of the fight.”

Gabriela “Sosa” Tellez is an undefeated rising prospect in the lightweight division, holding a 7-0 record with 3 knockouts. At just 19 years old, the orthodox fighter has already built a strong foundation with over 90 amateur bouts, showcasing maturity and ring IQ well beyond her years. Born in Vero Beach, Florida, and now fighting out of San Antonio, Texas, Tellez began boxing at the age of six and has quickly developed into one of the sport’s most promising young talents. Standing 5’3” and competing at 135 pounds, she is known for her sharp jab, her favorite punch, and disciplined style. Inspired by legends like Andre Ward and current pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford, Tellez has set ambitious goals to become the youngest women’s world champion, unify the division, and serve as an inspiration to the next generation of fighters. She is currently ranked WBA #3 contender in the world at 130lbs.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to defend my WBA Continental Americas title, especially over 10 rounds, that’s a big step for me, but I’m confident in my ability to shine,” said Gabriela Tellez. “I’ve been working hard in the gym, staying focused, and improving every day. No matter who the opponent is, I’m coming in prepared and ready to give my best performance.”

MVP was founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian in 2021. With the mission to provide more creative control to fighters, MVP works to identify, grow, and maximize return for its own events and talent partners. One year into its inception, MVP was nominated as one of the prestigious Sports Breakthroughs of the Year in 2022 by Sports Business Journal. MVP has produced Jake Paul’s last six global pay-per-view events, including the recent Paul vs. Perry match. The promotion company also signed one of the most decorated Hispanic athletes of all time, Amanda Serrano in its first year. Serrano and MVP made history in April of 2022 when Serrano went head to head with Katie Taylor, marking the first female fight to headline at Madison Square Garden, earning a nomination for Event of The Year by Sports Business Journal. MVP made history again in November 2024 with Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2, the first-ever live professional sports event on Netflix. MVP’s Paul vs. Tyson streamed live globally on Netflix and shattered records, becoming the most-streamed sporting event ever with 108 million live viewers globally. Co-founder Nakisa Bidarian was an executive producer of Paul vs. Tyson and the historic Triller Presents Mike Tyson v. Roy Jones Jr., which was the 8th most bought pay-per-view event in history.
