Reading, PA (June 29, 2020)–.Former Two-time world welterweight champion Kermit Cintron (39-6, 30 KOs) would like to let former world middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, that if he were to comeback, it should be against him.

After recent reports that Martinez will end his retirement, Cintron is adamant that a rematch of the two world champions is inevitable.

On February 14, 2009, Cintron and Martinez fought to a disputed draw in Sunrise, Florida, and now is the time for the two to settle the score.

“I see that he is coming back, and I want the opportunity to face him. We have some unfinished business from our fight in 2009, and this is the time to do it. There were various opinions on that fight. If the fight needs to be in Spain, Argentina or wherever, my Passport is up-to-date, and I am willing to travel,” said Cintron

“This is a no brainer fight for the promoters, but it is up to Sergio. I am sure he would like to avenge the draw, so let’s make it happen.”

Said Marshall Kauffman of King’s Promotions, “This would be a great fight. It’s two former world champions looking for that one last shot at something significant. The winner would have that. I will reach out to his representatives, and try to make this fight happen.”

Reading, PA (November 23, 2019)– Tonight’s scheduled main event at The Riveredge Restaurant in Reading, PA between Kermit Cintron and Josue Obando is off due to Obando failing to show up.

The pro-am card promoted by My Time Promotions in association with King’s Promotions will still go on.

Obando never stepped on the plane from Mexico, and therefore the fight was scrapped.

“We have had a signed contract for six-weeks, and the kid never showed up,” said Cintron’s promoter Marshall Kauffman of King’s Promotions. “Kermit worked very hard to weigh-in at 168.2 pounds. Kermit will get in the mix as he defeated Alfredo Angulo several years ago, and he just got a big win over Peter Quillin, so Kermit will be looking to fight anyone at 168 pounds.”

The show will feature two professional and 10 amateur fights beginning at 6 PM ET.

Reading, PA (November 7, 2019)– On Saturday night, November 23rd, My Time Promotions will stage it’s Inaugural card with a special Pro-Am card at The Riveredge Restaurant in Reading, Pa.

My Time Promotions is headed up by Heavyweight contender Travis Kauffman.

Kauffman will be promoting his 1st show in the same venue as his father, Marshall Kauffman of King’s Promotions promoted his 1st show on August 21, 1994. That day happened to be Travis Kauffman’s 9th

The professional part of the card will have three bouts, which will be headlined by former welterweight world champion Kermit Cintron.

Cintron will be making his maiden voyage in the super middleweight division when he takes on Josue Obando in a six-round bout.

Cintron of 39-6-3, 30 KOs of Reading, will be fighting at home eighth time. He won his 1st 24 fights which included wins over Leon Pearson (9-1-1), Said Ouali (7-0), Omar Davila (12-2), Ian Mackillop (14-1), Luis Rosado (29-5), Elio Ortiz (25-6). He won the WBO Interim Welterweight title with a 8th round stoppage over Teddy Reid on July 17, 2004.

After losing the title, Cintron defeated David Estrada (18-2) and then won the IBF Welterweight title with a 6th round stoppage over Mark Suarez (25-2). Cibtron defended the title twice with stoppage wins over Walter Matthysse (26-1) and Jesse Feliciano.

After losing the IBF belt, Cintron continued to defeated good competition such as Lovemore Ndou (46-10-1), Alfredo Angulo (15-0), Juliano Ramos (15-2), Antwone Smith (20-2-1), Jonathan Batista (14-1), and Ronald Cruz (20-2).

Bethlehem, PA (February 15, 2018) – This past Tuesday night, junior welterweight Mykal Fox took an eight-round unanimous decision over tough Ricardo Garcia in the main event of an eight-bout card at the
Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

The card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Fox of Forestville, Maryland remained undefeated by using his long reach, as he used his jab and nice left hands. Garcia landed haymaker shots from time to time, but over the second half of the fight, Fox made the proper adjustments and timed Garcia lunging in. The damage inflicted by Fox was evident as Garcia’s left eye began to swell midway through the fight. In round seven, with his eye nearly shut, Garcia ate a right hook that put him on the canvas.

Fox, 141.8 lbs of Forestville, Maryland took the decision by scores of 78-73 twice and 77-74 to further his perfect mark to 16-0. Garcia, 142.1 lbs of Dominican Republic dropped his 2nd straight fight, and is now 14-2.

Former two-time world welterweight champion Kermit Cintron and Marquis Taylor fought to a no-contest after an accidental headbutt caused a bad cut on the right eyelid of Cintron.

The end came at 35 seconds of round three of the scheduled eight-round super welterweight bout.

Cintron, 153.7 lbs of Reading, PA is 39-6-3. Taylor, 153.8 lbs of Houston, TX is 8-1.

Colby Madison fought through a cut on the bridge of his nose to win a six-round unanimous decision over Dante Selby in a heavyweight bout.

Madison, 247 lbs of Owings Mills, MD won by scores of 60-54 & 59-55 twice to remain undefeated at 6-0-1. Selby, 230 lbs of Philadelphia is 2-4-1.

Blake Mansfield stopped Darryl Bunting in round five of their scheduled six-round middleweight bout.

The bout was entertaining as the two landed good shots on each other. Bunting was cut over his right eye from a punch in round two. Mansfield was deducted a point in round four as his mouthpiece came out several times.

Mansfield ended the fight in round five when he landed a hard combination that had Bunting in trouble on the ropes. Several hard an unanswered punches later, the fight was stopped at 36 seconds.

Mansfield, 162.4 lbs of Burington, NC is 6-1-1 with four knockouts. Bunting, 163 lbs of Asbury Park, NJ is 3-3-2.

Michael Coffie won a four-round unanimous decision over tough Nicoy Clarke in a heavyweight bout.

Coffie, 269 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won all cards 40-36, and is now 2-0. Clarke, 206.8 lbs of Jersey City, NJ was making his pro debut.

Juan Sanchez stopped Sergio Aguilar in the final scheduled round of the their four round featherweight bout.

Sanchez scored knockdowns in round one, two in round two, and finished the show with a hard left that sent Aguilar down and out with just five seconds remaining in the bout.

Sanchez, 125.5 lbs of Allentown, PA is 5-0 with two knockouts. Aguilar, 123 lbs of Homestead, FL is 2-7.

Kendall Cannida made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Leroy Jones in a cruiserweight bout.

Philadelphia, PA (June 25 2017) -In a fight that exceeded it’s high expectations, Tyrone Brunson came back from two 4th round knockdowns to come back in the very next round to send former two-time world champion Kermit Cintron to the canvas three times, and win the Pennsylvania State Junior Middleweight title via 5th round stoppage at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

The spectacular card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

“This was a tremendous fight, and all-around great card. Some fight’s and cards don’t live up to the expectations, but the main was one of the great fights of this year. I am proud of all the fighters who competed tonight, as they all brought their best, and it showed in quality of the fights,”said King’s Promotions CEO, Marshall Kauffman.

The fight was nip and tuck for the first three-plus rounds, as Cintron looked very sharp early as he landed some hard right hands in the opening frame. Brunson came back and had a strong round two. The fight was fought on event terms until round four, when Cintron
dropped Brunson with a perfectly timed left hand. Later in the round, Brunson went down from an accumulation of punches on the ropes, and as the fourth round was finished, Brunson seemed just about done as well.

Brunson miraculously came back in round five and turned the tables on the former champ, as he landed a beautiful left that sent Cintron to the canvas. Cintron, was hurt and the prodigious puncher, Brunson was ready to finish off Cintron. Cintron never regained his legs and was sent to the canvas two more times, and referee Shawn Clark waved off the bout at 1:21.

Brunson is now 25-6-2 with 23 knockouts. Cintron of Reading, PA falls to 39-6-3.

In the co-Feature, Victor Vazquez won a six-round unanimous decision over Anthony Burgin in a super lightweight bout.

Vazquez dropped Burgin in round two from body, and he took the hotly contested battle by scores of 58-55 twice and 57-56. Vazquez of Yonkers, NY is now 8-3. Burgin of Philadelphia is now 10-4.

Steven Ortiz registered two knockdowns en-route to a thrilling six-round unanimous decision over Tyrome Jones in a battle of previously undefeated lightweights.

Ortiz scored knockdowns in rounds three and four in a bout where both guys landed some effective blows.

Ortiz of Philadelphia won by scores of 59-53 twice and 57-56 to remain perfect at 7-0. Jones of South Bend, IN is now 4-1.

Jerome Conquest won a six-round decision over Jae Ho Kim in a lightweight bout.

Conquest was dropped with a left hook at the end of round three, but he controlled the action, and won by scores of 59-55, 58-55, and 57-56, and is now 8-2. Kim of Philadelphia via South Korea is now 6-4-1.

Brandon Robinson dominated and took out Rafael Valencia at 2:48 of round two of their scheduled four round super middleweight bout.

Robinson landed a hard right that sent Valencia to the canvas. Valencia got up, but deemed unable to continue at 2:48.

Robinson of Philadelphia is 4-1 with three knockouts. Valencia of Medford, OR is 3-8-1.

Gregory Clark won a six-round unanimous decision over Daryl Bunting in a super middleweight bout.

Clark of Washington, DC won by scores of 59-55 twice and 58-56, and is now 3-1-1. Bunting of Asbury Park, NJ is 3-2-2.

Marcus Bates remained undefeated by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Roberto Pucheta in a bantamweight bout.

Bates of Washington, DC won by scores of 59-54, and 58-55 twice and is now 7-0-1. Pucheta of Jalisco, MX is 10-12-1.

In a battle of undefeated heavyweights, Colby Madison and Joel Caudle battled to a majority draw.

Caudle took a card at 58-56, while two cards were even at 57-57.

Philadelphia, PA (June 13, 2017) – The stakes have been raised for the much anticipated showdown between former two-time world champion Kermit Cintron & Tyrone Brunson, that will take place on Saturday, June 24 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania State Junior Middleweight title will be on the line when those two combatants meet in a bout scheduled for 10-rounds.

The show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

“This was already a tremendous event, and now even more is on the line with the addition of the state title bout. This fight has the makings of an explosive fight, with the winner being in line for a major opportunity, said Marshall Kauffman, CEO of King’s Promotions.

That bout will headline an eleven bout card with some of the best fighters in the area being on display.

ATLANTIC CITY (JUNE 12, 2017) — This past Saturday, welterweight Thomas LaManna won an eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez that headlined a card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

The show was the 8th consecutive capacity capacity crowd promoted by Rising Promotions at the Claridge

LaManna dominated the action with power shots that he landed behind a long jab throughout the contest. Velasquez was game as he took a lot of shots and landed an occasional power shot. LaManna sealed the deal in the final round when he landed a flush 4-punch combination that put Velasquez on the canvas.

LaManna of Millville, NJ won on all cards by scores of 80-71 to raise his mark to 23-2. Velasquez falls to 24-29-2.

“Velasquez was tough and durable,”said LaManna following the fight.

“I needed this fight, and now I would like to fight Kermit Cintron if he should win his fight with Tyrone Brunson on June 24th. Maybe he will stop ducking me, I want to fight a big name like Cintron, Zab Judah or a rematch with Dusty Harrison. We at Rising Promotions will be back here at the Claridge on August for our 9th event.”

Anthony Young won a eight-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining welterweight contest.

Young was extremely active as he landed hard combinations with Sosa landing an occasional hard shot to the head.

Young of Atlantic City won by scores of 80-72 twice and 80-71 to raise his mark to 17-2. Sosa of Reading, PA is 15-9.

Donald Smith remained undefeated by winning a four round unanimous decision over Sidell Blocker in super featherweight bout.

Smith of Philadelphia won on all cards 40-36, and is now 5-0. Blocker of Pleasantville, NJ is 1-8-1.

Chris Thomas and Oscar Valdez battled to a four round majority draw in a middleweight contest.

Thomas of Beachwood, NJ took a card 39-37, while two judges saw it even at 38-38.

Thomas is now 6-0-1. Valdez of Batesville, ARK is 1-2-1.

Gabriel Pham won a six round unanimous decision over Edgar Perez in a light heavyweight bout.

Pham won on all cards 60-54 and is now 9-1. Perez of Chicago is 7-21.

Tomas Romain won a four round unanimous decision over Lamont White in a lightweight bout.

Romain of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37, and is now 3-1. White of Washington, DC is now 1-8.

Elijah Vines remained perfect with a 3rd round stoppage over Harry Tyrone Paige in a scheduled four round junior middleweight bout.

In round one, Vines dropped Paige with a perfect right hook. In round three, Vines dropped Paige with a right to the body. Paige got to his feet, but his corner pulled the plug at 1:42.

Vines of Philadelphia is 4-0 with 4 knockouts. Paige of Batesville, ARK is 0-5.

Frederick Julan stopped Jose Valderrama in the 6th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

Julan dropped Valderrama in round six with a body shot. Julan finished off the when he dropped Valderrama for a 2nd time with a right hook to the head, and the fight was stopped at 1:17.

Julan of Brooklyn, NY is 5-0 with three knockouts. Valderrama of Manati, PR is 5-20.

Dan Pasciolla and LeMarcus Tucker battled to a majority draw in a rematch of Heavyweights.

In round one, Pasciolla began to bleed from his nostrils.

Pasciolla took a card 58-56. That was overruled by 57-57 scores.

Philadelphia, PA (May 26, 2017) – Former two-time world champion Kermit Cintron will take on Tyrone Brunson in an highly anticipated ten-round junior middleweight bout that will headlined a packed night of boxing on Saturday, June 24th at the 2300 Arena in
Philadelphia.

The card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Cintron of Reading, Pa. has a record of 39-5-3 with 30 big knockouts, and is a two-time world champion.

The 37 year-old Cintron is a 17 year professional who won his first 23 fights (20 via stoppage) by defeating the likes of Leon Pearson (9-1-1), Said Ouali (7-0), Omar Davila (12-2), Ian Mackillop (14-1), Luis Rosado (29-5), Elio Ortiz (25-6), & Teddy Reid (22-5-1).

On April 23, 2005, Cintron was stopped by Antonio Margarito in his bid to win the WBO Welterweight title.

Cintron scored two wins, which included a 10th round stoppage over contender David Estrada (18-2) before stopping Mark Suarez in six-rounds to capture the IBF Welterweight title on October 28, 2006 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Cintron made two defenses of the crown which was highlighted by a two-round destruction over Walter Matthysse (26-1), before being stopped by Margarito in their rematch.

Cintron then sandwiched wins over Lovemore Ndou (46-10-1), Alfredo Angulo (15-0) and Juliano Ramos (15-2) around a draw with Sergio Martinez (44-1-1) before dropping fights with world champions Paul Williams and Carlos Molina.

Since 2011, Cintron has gone 8-1-1 with his only loss coming at the hands of Canelo Alvarez, while racking up wins over Antowne Smith (20-2-1), Jonathan Batista (14-1) & Ronald Cuz (20-2).

In his last bout, Cintron fought to a technical draw with David Grayton (15-1) on March 17th in Reading, Pa.

Brunson of Philadelphia has a record of 24-6-2, with 22 knockouts.

The 32 year-old Brunson turned professional in 2005, and started his career with 19 consecutive 1st round knockouts. Included in that streak was a stoppage over James Morrow (8-1-2). On October, 14, 2016, Brunson and undefeated Ismael Garcia (10-0) fought to a hard to a draw in Philadelphia.

In his last bout Brunson won an eight-round split decision over Brandon Quarles (18-3-1) on March 11th in Philadelphia.

READING, PA (March 18, 2017) – In a 12-round heavyweight war that lived up to the hype, Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 KOs) was able to take a majority decision (114-114, 117-111, 115-113) over Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce from Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

In round two, Kauffman buckled Mansour with a hard right on the inside. The two fighters started round four with bad intentions as they each landed hard shots on the inside. Kauffman switched back and forth between orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to befuddle the southpaw Mansour.

By the closing rounds, both fighters began to grind out a hard-fought battle on the inside. In rounds nine and 10, it was Mansour who had more pep in his step, landing several hard blows to close out round 10.

Round 12 was a classic heavyweight slugfest, as Kauffman and Mansour stood toe-to-toe landing leather on each other for the whole three-minute period, with Mansour doing just enough to get the win.

Televised coverage opened with Chordale Booker (6-0, 3 KOs) of Brooklyn, New York getting a unanimous decision (59-55, 59-55, 58-56) over Moshea Aleem (4-1-1, 2 KOs) of Richmond, Virginia in a super welterweight bout.

The co-main event featured two-time welterweight world champion Kermit Cintron (39-5-3, 30 KOs) and David Grayton (15-1-1, 11 KOs) fighting to a technical majority draw after Cintron was deemed unable to continue due to a cut over his right eye.

In round five, Grayton floored Cintron with an overhand left. Later in the round, Grayton nailed Cintron with an unintentional headbutt to the right eye, which opened up the cut that led to the end of the bout. Action was stopped at 2:53 of round five.

“I was in control of the fight, but I was in his hometown, and you know how that goes.

“It was a good fight. I needed this fight to see where I am. And I wanted to fight another undefeated fighter. It was a step up on national television.

“I give myself a B- for my performance tonight. My movement was good, but I did not sit down on my power enough. It was a good learning experience though. I could not ask for a better platform to perform on.”

In Non-televised action, Former two-time world champion Steve Cunningham pitched a shutout in taking a six-round unanimous decision over Felipe Romero in a cruiserweight bout.

Cunningham, 205 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 60-54 on all cards, and is now 29-8-1. Romero, 202 lbs of Baja, Cakifornia, Mexico is 19-12-1.

Chris Colbert remained undefeated with a 6-round unanimous decision over Wilfredo Garriga in a super featherweight bout.

Colbert, 130.7 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won on all card 60-54, and is now 6-0. Garriga, 130.6 lbs of Juana Diaz, PR is 3-5-1.

Erik Spring won a 6-round unanimous decision over Jeremiah Wiggins in a junior middleweight bout.

Spring, 152 lbs of Reading won by tllaies of 60-53 and 59-54 twice to raise his mark to 9-1-2. Wiggins, 152.8 lbs of Newport News, VA falls to 10-6-1.

Darius Ervin won a 4-round majority decision over Kashon Hutchinson in a super lightweight bout,Earvin, 141.7 lbs of Los Angeles, CA won two cards 39-37 and a third card read even at 38-38.

Earvin is 4-1. Hutchinson, 140.8 lbs of Reading, PA is 2-2.

Jesus Perez remained undefeated by winning a 4-round unanimous decision over Titos Matthew Gosalves in a super lightweight bout.

In round two, Perez scored a knockdown from a right hand to the body. In round three, Perez began to bleed from his mouth.

Perez, 141 lbs of Reading, PA won all cards 39-36, and is now 2-0. Gonsalves, 139 lbs of Lancaster, PA was making his pro debut.

Matt Quirindongo won a 4-round unanimous decision over Weusi Johnson in a super featherweight bout.

In round two, Quirindongo decked Johnson with a hard left hook.

Quirindongo, 125.9 lbs of Reading, PA is 1-0. Johnson, 124 lbs of Wilmington, DE is 2-3.

Nicholas Hernandez won a 4-round unanimous decision over Nick Valliere in a middleweight bout.

Bethlehem, PA (December 12, 2016) – Berlin Abreu won a 10-round split decision over David Peralta to capture the WBC Latino Welterweight bout this past Saturday at the
Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

The bout headlined a nine-bout card, which was promoted by GH3 Promotions, King’s Promotions and Sampson Boxing.

It was a terrific back and forth battle that produced action throughout the fight. Abreu used his quickness to fire off rapid fire combinations. Every time it seemed that Abreu was seizing control of the bout, Peralta would would storm back with a hard flurry of his own.

Both guys had a lot of swelling on their faces. In the final-third of the contest, Abreu landed more, and even had Peralta backing up and holding on.

The bout could be a breakthrough performance for Abreu, who sprang the upset over Peralta. Peralta came into the bout ranked number-15 by the WBC, and was coming off a possible career making victory over former world champion Robert Guerrero.

Abreu of Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic won by scores of 97-93 and 86-94, while Peralta took a card 97-93.

Abreu is now 14-1. Peralta of Cordoba, Argentina is now 26-3-1.

In the co-feature, former two-time welterweight champion Kermit Cintron was sharp in taking out Rosemberg Gomez after the 3rd round of their scheduled 8-round welterweight bout.

Cintron was dominant throughout as he showed signs of the fighter, who won the world welterweight title on two occasions. He had Gomez hurt in round three as he divided up his attack to the head and body and finally floored the native of Managua, Nicaragua with a combination. Gomez best offense was a tackle of Cintron as he fell to the canvas on the knockdown. Cintron was alright and after the round, Gomez and his corner pulled the plug on the contest.

Cintron of Reading, PA is now 39-5-2 with 30 knockouts. Gomez is now 19-6-1.

Ronald Ellis remained undefeated with a 8-round unanimous decision over Oscar Riojas in a super middleweight bout.

Scores were 80-72 twice and 79-73.

Ellis of Lynn, MA will now take part in a nationally televised bout on January 20th with a record of 13-0-1. Riojas of Monterrey, Mexico is 10-7-1.

Erik Spring and Grayson Blake battled to a 6-round draw in a super welterweight bout.

All three judges saw the bout even at 57-57.

Spring of Reading, PA is 8-1-2. Blake of State College, PA is 6-4-1.

Derric Rossy took out big Richard Carmack in the 2nd round of their Heavyweight bout.

Rossy landed a combination in the 2nd round that was finished up by a right to the corner that sent Carmack to the canvas. Carmack did not beat the count at 1:48.

Rossy of Medford, NY is 31-12 with 15 knockouts. Carmack if Kansas City, MO is 15-10-1.

Blake Mansfield remained undefeated by winning a 6-round unanimous decision over Antowyan Aikens in a super middleweight bout.

Masnfield dropped Aikens with an uppercut in the 1st round. AIkens had some moments as he used his height and reach but it was not enough as Mansfield won by scores of 59-54 and 58-55 twice.

Mansfield of Burlington, NC is 4-0-1. Aikens of Atlantic City, NJ is 10-3-1.

Abraham Nova took out Joshua Santos in the 2nd round of their super featherweight bout.

Nova scored a knockdown in round when he landed a right hand that made the knee of Santos buckle underneath him as he fall to the canvas. Santos was limping, but was able to continue. Santos came out landing punches in the 2nd frame, but that was short lived as another crushing right from Nova dropped Santos again and the bout was stopped at 2:02.

Chordale Booker remained undefeated by winning a 4-round unanimous decision over Dawin Pickney in a super welterweight bout.

Booker of Brooklyn, won by tallies of 40-36 and 39-37 twice and is now 4-0. Pickeny of Hot Springs, ARK is now 1-3-1.

Jesus Perez made a successful pro debut by halting Antonio Allen at 2:38 of round three of their super lightweight bout.

Perez of Reading, PA is 1-0 with 1 KO. Allen of Philadelphia is 0-5.

Bethlehem, PA (December 7, 2016) – This Saturday night, former two-time world welterweight champion Kermit Cintron will take on Rosembeg Gomez in an eight-round bout for the WBF title.

The bout will serve as the co-feature of a card promoted by GH3 Promotions, KIng’s Promotions and will streamed live on www.ringtv.com beginning at 9 PM ET.

In the 10-round main event, welterweight David Peralta (26-2-1, 14 KO’s) takes on Berlin Abreu (13-1, 11 KO’s) for the WBC Latino title.

“Everything went well in camp. Everything is on scheduled, and I am on weight. I sparred with Julian Williams and overall it was a good camp,” said Cintron.

In Gomez, he is facing a fighter who is on a two-fight win streak, yet lost his only appearance in the United States, which ironically took place in the same building as he dropped a decision to undefeated Alex Martin on February 9th.

“I don’t know much about him. I saw one tape, and he seems like a bully and tries to take you out of your game. He is nothing special, nothing that I haven’t seen before. I am just going in there and do what I have worked on, and exploit his mistakes.”

This will be Cintron’s 4th fight in the last 7 months, and he is ready for a good performance, and move on to big opportunities in 2017.

“The game plan was to be built up again. From what (King’s Promotions) Marshall Kauffman has said, 2017 will be a big year and I am looking forward to getting back to the top.”

With a plethora of talent atop the welterweight division, Cintron sees many opportunities for that breakthrough win.

“Whatever fight makes sense for me is who i will fight. I will fight all of the top contenders.”

At 37 years-old, Cintron still feels youthful and has the same energy level he did when he was a welterweight champion a decade again.

“My trainer Joe Pastore has been putting me through the same workouts that I always have done when I was a world champion. They are hard workouts and I don’t feel 37. I don’t feel any changes in my body. I feel good and fresh.”

“I am just excited to be back. This Saturday I will finish the year strong. I am looking to seeing my friends and family and finish the year with a bang!”

Bethlehem, PA (November 21, 2016) – David Peralta will take on Berlin Abreu in a scheduled 10-round bout for the WBC Latino Welterweight title on a massive card that will take place on Saturday, December 10th at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

The show, which is promoted by GH3 Promotions, King’s Promotions and Sampson Boxing, will be televised LIVE on ONE World Sports beginning at 9 PM ET.

Peralta of Cordoba, Argentina has a record of 26-2-1 with 14 knockouts and is coming off the biggest win of his career, when he upset former world champion Robert Guerrero on August 27th in Anaheim, California.

The 34 year-old is an 11 year professional, who won his first 20 fights. As the underdog, Peralta was able to outbox Guerrero and stun the former unanimous decision and the former cab driver was quickly hailed as a legitimate contender in the welterweight division.

Abreu of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic has a record of 13-1 with 11 knockouts.

The 24 year-old is a six year professional and has knocked out his last six opponents, which includes a 1st round stoppage over Juan Carlos Contreras on October 22, 2015.

Seeing action in an 8-round bout will be undefeated super middleweight Ronald Ellis (12-0-1, 10 KO’s) of Lynn, Massachusetts taking on Oscar Riojas (10-6-1, 3 KO’s) of Monterrey, Mexico. The three year professional, will be making his fifth appearance in 2016 and is coming off a stoppage defeat to Vyacheslav Shabranskyy on August 19th in Los Angeles.

Also appearing in televised action will be former two-time welterweight world champion, Kermit Cintron taking on Rosemberg Gomez in an eight-round battle. Cintron of Reading, Pa., has a record of 38-5-2 with 29 knockouts. The 37 year-old is a 16 year professional, who has reached the top of the mountain on two occasions. On July 17, 2004, Cintron stopped Teddy Reid in 8 rounds to capture the WBO Interim Welterweight title.

After dropping his first contest in a fight with IBF champion Antonio Margarito, Cintron stopped 5 consecutive foes. Within that streak, Cintron captured the IBF Welterweight title with a 6th round stoppage over Mark Suarez on October 28, 2006. Cintron defended the title twice with stoppages over Walther Matthysse (26-1) and Jesse Feliciano, before being stopped for a 2nd time by Margarito.

Cintron then ran off an impressive four fight run which was highlighted with wins former world title challenger Lovemore N’Dou (46-10-1), former world champion Alfredo Angulo (15-0) and Juliano Ramos (15-2) as well as a draw with future hall of famer Sergio Martinez (44-1-1).

Fighting out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Heiland will be making his U.S. debut when he steps into the ring on Friday night. The 29-year-old has won six straight fights heading into bout, including a sensational knockout of Matthew Macklin in 2014. Heiland most recently defeated Martin Fidel Rios in April in a 10-round matchup.

Cintron is a former welterweight world champion who owns victories over Alfredo Angulo, Lovemore Ndou and Ronald Cruz. The Puerto Rican fighter who lives in Reading fought Argentine great Sergio Martinez to a draw and has battled top fighters from Canelo Alvarez to Antonio Margarito. He enters this bout on a four-fight win streak including two victories so far this year. He takes on the 29-year-old Woods out of St. Petersburg, who has also picked up two wins in 2016.

The 29-year-old De Alba had a 19 fight unbeaten streak snapped in December 2015, when he dropped a narrow majority decision to unbeaten Omar Douglas, but he has rebounded with back-to-back stoppage victories in 2016. Originally from Bayamon, Puerto Rico but now fighting out of Reading he’ll battle Little Rock’s Evans, who started off his pro career in 2012 with eight straight wins.

Philadelphia, PA (May 7, 2016)– Christopher Brooker won a 8-round unanimous decision over Antowyan Aikens that headlined a 10-bout card at a nearly sold-out 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

The card was promoted by King’s Promotions

In round one, both guys were cut from an accidental headbutt. Brooker over the left eye and Aikens over the right. In round three, Brooker scored a knockdown when he landed a left hook that sent Aikens to the canvas. Aikens was not hurt as he jumped right up and argued with referee Shawn Clark that it should have been ruled a slip. Brooker continued to get the best of the action as he pushed the pace and he took the bout by scores of 80-71 and 79-72 twice to raise his mark to 9-1. Aikens of Atlantic City is 12-2.

Kermit Cintron pounded out a 6-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Flores in a junior middleweight bout.

Cintron was systematic with his punches and worked well to the body and head. Flores was a game opponent who tried and got in a few decent shots of his own.

In the end, Cintron a former world champion making his first start in 27-months, fought well and got some needed rounds in and won all cards by 60-54 scores.

Cintron of Reading, PA is now 36-5-2. Flores is 23-21-3.

Naim Nelson won a 6-round unanimous decision over Carlos Velasquez in a junior welterweight bout.

Nelson of Philadelphia won all cards 60-54 and is now 13-1, 1 NC. Velasquez of Managua, Nicaragua is 24-24-2.

Scott Kelleher thrilled the crowd with a three-round beatdown of Terrell James in a scheduled four round junior welterweight bout.

Kelleher landed hard power shots over the first two rounds as he dived up his punches between the body and head. Kelleher landed some vicious body shots in round three and assaulted James with a hard flurry in the corner until referee Blair Talmidge stopped the bout at 2:23 of round three.

Kelleher of Philadelphia is 5-0 with three knockouts. James of Philadelphia is 1-4-1.

Erik Spring won a 6-round split decision over Justin Johnson in a junior middleweight bout.

Spring controlled the bout, yet somehow Johnson took a card 59-55. That was overruled by 60-54 and 59-55 scores in favor of Spring.

Spring of Reading, PA. is now 7-1. Johnson of Pittsburgh is 6-12-4.

Aaron Brooks made a successful pro debut with a 4-round unanimous decision over Ryan Bivins in a battle of Philadelphia based super middleweights.

In round three, Brooks landed a couple of right hands that hurt Bivins and his glove ultimately touched the canvas for a knockdown. In the fourth round, another right hand hurt Bivins and he went down on a slow reaction.

Brooks won by scores of 40-34 twice and 39-36. Bivins falls to 0-2-1.

Thomas Velasquez scored a thudding second round stoppage over Grashino Yancy in a scheduled four round junior lightweight bout.

Velasquez landed a perfect left hook to the head that sent Yancy down in the corner. he could not beat referee Shawn Clark’s count at 1:39 of round two.

Velasquez, 131.4 lbs of Philadelphia is 5-0 with four knockouts. Yancy, 131.2 lbs of Staten Island, NY is 1-1.

Tyrone Crawley Jr. pounded out a 4-round unanimous decision over Korey Sloane in a lightweight bout.

Crawley of Philadelphia won by 40-36 tallies on all cards and is now 5-0. Sloane of Philadelphia is 2-9-2.

Emmanuel Folly scored a stoppage after round one of his scheduled 4-round featherweight bout with Bryan Perez.

Perez injured his hand and the bout was stopped in the corner.

Cintron, who for most of the last decade was a heralded prospect, turned world champion, is reuniting with the team started him to his journey.

The Reading, Pennsylvania native is happy to fighting just forty-five minutes away from his hometown. He will making his first appearance in the “City of Brotherly Love” in fifteen years.

Most of Cintron’s fights in the past decade have been high-profile fights that have been seen in on premium cable television. Cintron is taking this stage of his career one fight at a time.

“It is all up to my promoter Marshall Kauffman and King’s Promotions. When he says that I am ready for a bigger fight, that is when we will move to that. I am just trying to get my feet wet again. I am excited for this opportunity and to be back with Marshall. Marshall and Joe Pastore trained me to get to the top. Now Joe is training me and Marshall is promoting me and I am happy to be back with them. I am just trying to get back to being my old self again. I have been working on walking my opponents down.”

This fight is ticketed for 154 pounds, but Cintron has eyes on welterweight glory again.

“We will slowly work our way down and see how my body feels. This will be at 154. The next fight, I am looking at 150-151 and then hopefully 147.”

In Flores, Cintron is fighting an experienced foe who has been in the ring with former world champion Carlos Baldomir plus a bevy of contenders and prospects.

“I really do not know much on him other then he has fought a bunch of good fighters and he is from Ecuador. I just expect me to be my old self and if that is the case, a knockout should be happening on Friday.”

BETHLEHEM, PA—Vyachslav Glazkov scored the biggest win of his career as he scored a 12 round unanimous decision over former two-division world champion Tomasz Adamek at the Sands Hotel Casino

From the opening bell there was a lot of contact with Glazkov establishing his power shots early that caused a massive swelling around the right eye of Adamek as early as round two and blood from nose the in the 4th.

In round seven, Glazkov ripped two hard rights that sandwiched a piston jab to the face of the former two-division champion. In round eight, Glazkov continued to land right hands with ease and landed a perfect right that buckled Adamek for the 1st time in the bout. In round nine, Glazkov continued to Adamek with hard rights and wobbled him again. Adamek fought well down the stretch and he landed some good combinations in round 12 that gave a glimmer of hope to his many rabid fans that were in attendance. But it was much too little and way too late as the early beating that Glazkov inflicted on Adamek was too much to make for as the scores read 117-110, 117-111 and 116-112.

Glazkov of Ukraine is now 17-0-1. Adamek is now 49-3.

Isaac Chilemba scored a 10 round unanimous decision over Denis Grachev in a Light Heavyweight bout.

Chilemba dominated the action and landed a lot of solid punches througout. Grachev was willing and even landed some punches but it was the more effective Chilemba who won basically every round to the tune of 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.

Chilemba, 174.6 lbs of Johannesburg, SA is now 22-2-2. Grachev, 175.2 lbs of Russia is now 13-3-1.

Chilemba said, “I am feeling good, it was great. I knew he was going to be tough but I was pleased with the outcome.”

Kermit Cntron took another step into resurrecting his career with an exciting 10 round unanimous decision over Ronald Cruz in a Welterweight bout.

Cintron rocked Cruz in the 1st frame when he buckled him with a left hook that made Cruz monetarily lose his balance. In round two, they began to trade with Cintron landing to head while Cruz worked the body. Towards the end of the frame, Cruz atarted to work his way upstairs by landing a couple of head shots. In round three, Cruz was cut over the right from an accidental headbutt. When it looked like Cintron was in control of the fight in round five, Cruz landed a good left to the chin.

Cintron, 148 lbs of Reading, PA won all three cards by a 96-94 tally and is now 35-5-2. Cruz, 148 lbs of Bethlehem, PA is now 20-3.

With blood coming down over his left eye, Cruz started to show more pep in his step and landed a beautiful poverhand right in the 6th frame. Cintron started boxing well again in round seven as he landed solid combinations from the outside. Round eight was a war with Cintron landing a hard combination early but Cruz made a stand and going inside which thrilled the pro-Cruz crowd. It was an action filled final round withe some solid two-way action.

Karl Dargan remained perfect by scoring an 8 round unanimous decision over Chazz McDowell in a Lightweight bout.

Dargan started systematically boxed and landed pin point shots. In round three, McDowell started to bleed from his mouth. Dargan dominated the action as it was much of the same round after round. The crowd got a little frustrated as they believed that Dargan could have ended matters if he stepped on the gas.

Dargan, 135 1/2 lbs won by scores of 80-72 on all cards and is now 15-0. McDowell, 142 lbs of Hartford, CT is now 6-5-1.

In a battle of undefeated Jr. Welterweights, Jerome Rodriguez and Brandon Williams fought to a split draw in a six round bout.

Most at ringside believed it was Williams who had taken the fight due to his boxing and moving.

Scores were 59-55 Williams, 58-57 Rodriguez and 57-57.

Williams. 133 1/2 lbs is now 3-0-1. Rodriguez, 140 lbs of Allentown, PA is now 6-0-3.

Nathaniel Rivas remained undefeated Nathaniel Rivas stopped Terrell James in round three of a scheduled four round Welterweight bout.

Rivas and James had an action packed 1st round where they rocked each other throughout the frame. At the end of the round, Rivas landed an uppercut that severely buckled James and almost had him out on his feet. In round three, Rivas hurt James with several more right hands. Rivas landed a thudding right-left combination and the fight was stopped atl 2:37 of round three.

Rivas, 148 lbs of Berlin, NJ is now 3-0 with 1 knockout. James, 146 lbs of Philadelphia is 1-2-1.

Bethlehem, PA – Bragging rights across Southeastern Pennsylvania will be up for grabs when welterweights Ronald Cruz, of Bethlehem, and nearby rival Kermit Cintron, of Reading, PA, meet in a much-anticipated regional showdown Saturday evening, March 15, in the Events Center at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.

A world heavyweight elimination fight tops between Tomasz Adamek, of Zywiec, Poland, and Vyascheslav “Czar” Glazkov, of Lugansk, Ukraine, square off in a 12-round contest. NBC Sports Network will televise the card on its popular Fight Night Series. The first TV fight is 9pm (EST).

“The Adamek-Glazkov fight may generate more interest on an international scale, but in Southeastern Pennsylvania there is no bigger fight to be made than Cruz against Cintron,” said Hall-of-Fame promoter J Russell Peltz, who is co-promoting the March 15 card with Main Events. “From the early calls, I expect the March 15 card not only to sell out, but we should have people banging on the doors outside trying to get in the night of the fight. This one (Cruz-Cintron) has been brewing for some time, ever since Cruz developed into a local attraction in Bethlehem, less than 50 miles from Cintron’s hometown.”

A pro since 2009, the 27-year-old Cruz is 20-2, 15 K0s. He spent some time in the Top 15 of two world governing bodies, but back-to-back losses in 2012 to Antwone Smith, of Miami, FL, and in 2013 to Ray Narh, of Accra, Ghana, stalled his climb.

Cruz has since rebounded, scoring three consecutive knockouts over Rodolfo Armenta, of Rio Rico, AZ; Alberto Morales, of Miami, FL; Hector Munoz, of Albuquerque, NM. All three K0s were at the Sands Events Center, the site of Cruz’ last six fights.

Cruz said, “Kermit Cintron is a name that many people know around the world and he’s a guy that’s had alot of good moments in his career. You have to respect what he’s done for the sport of boxing, but this is my time.” He added, “I’m looking forward to making a statement with Kermit and erasing some doubts people have about me. I know he will try to come at his best and I hope he does because at the end of the day, I want no excuses.”

The 34-year-old Cintron turned pro in 2000 and won the vacant IBF world welterweight title in 2006 when he knocked out Mark Suarez, of Riverside, CA. After successful defenses against Walter Matthysse, of Santa Fe, Argentina, and Jesse Feliciano, of Las Vegas, NV, Cintron lost the title to Antonio Margarito, of Tijuana, Mexico, in 2008.

“I’ve been training for a knockout. I’m feeling back to my old self. Having my good friend Joe Pastore back in my team who is also my strength and conditioning coach as well as my manager,” said Cintron. “Physically and mentally I feel strong. Looking forward to this fight not because I’m getting back in the ring but because I will be fighting close to home.”

In his last fight Aug. 2 in Miami, OK, Cintron earned a 10-round decision over Jonathan Batista, of the Dominican Republic.

Overall, Cintron is 34-5-2, 28 K0s.

Javier Fortuna and Luis Franco battled to a ten round Featherweight bout at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

Scores varied as Franco took a card 99-91. Fortuna won a card 96-94 while a third card was even at 95-95.

Fortuna, 128 lbs of the Dominican Republic is 22-0-1. Franco of Cuba is 11-1-1.

Former world champion Kermit Cintron scored a lackluster ten round unanimous decision over Jonathan Batista in a Welterweight fight.

It was a close fight with neither guy getting a distinct advantage. Cintron scored a disputed knockdown in round eight when the two fighters feet became tangled but none the less it was ruled a knockdown. Batista was docked two points in round ten for hitting behind the head and hitting on the break.

Cintron, 146.2 lbs of Reading, PA won by scores of 99-88 and 98-89 on two cards and is now 34-5-2. Batista, 147 lbs of the Dominican Republic is now 14-2.

Former world champion Kermit Cintron was fortunate to get a ten round draw with unheralded Adrian Granados in a Welterweight bout.

Granados landed the better shots and was more active despite fighting through a cut around the eye since the fourth round. Granados had a strong round ten and it looked like that would be enough to earn the biggest victory of his career. But it wasnt to be as Granados won a card 96-96; Cintron 97-93 and one card even at 95-95

Granados, 146 lbs of Chicago is now 9-1-2. Cintron, 146 lbs of Reading, PA is now 33-5-2.

Hairon Socarras scored a four round unanimous decision over Sergio Montes De Oca in a Featherweight weight bout.

Socarras scored a knockdown in round one from a right hand to the body that was followed by a left to the head that made Montes De Oca’s glove hit the canvas. Socarras continued to dominate the fight as he landed some quick combinations.

Socarras won the bout via scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 7-0-1. De Oca, 126 lbs of Chicago is now 7-2-1.
