VERONA, N.Y. — Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP) today announced opponents for Jimuel Pacquiao Jr. (0-0-1) and Curmel “Big Deal” Moton (8-0, 6 KOs), as both promising prospects return to action on Saturday, February 28 at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.

Returning to Upstate New York for the first time since his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame last June, Manny Pacquiao and MPP bring a talent-stacked card back to U.S. soil. The event is headlined by a 10-round WBO Featherweight International Championship showdown between knockout artists Elijah Pierce (21-2, 17 KOs) and Lorenzo Parra (23-1-1, 17 KOs)—a high-stakes clash originally slated to headline MPP’s sold-out U.S. debut before illness forced its postponement.

Pacquiao Jr. steps back into the fray for his sophomore outing against Puerto Rico’s Luis E. Santana Figueroa (0-2) in a four-round lightweight fight. In his highly anticipated professional debut at MPP’s inaugural sold-out U.S. event in November, Pacquiao Jr. delivered relentless aggression in a thrilling, back-and-forth battle with Brandon Lalley. Though the bout ended in a controversial draw, he left little doubt about his star potential, displaying the same electrifying, fan-friendly style that made his father a global icon. Pacquiao Jr. can now earn his first professional victory near the International Boxing Hall of Fame, where his father was ceremonially enshrined last year.

At just 19-years-old, Moton is already widely viewed as a future star and he looks to reinforce that reputation on Saturday, February 28, when he faces Wilfredo Flores (12-6-1, 5 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight attraction. Highly accomplished as an amateur and now forging an undefeated record as a professional, Honolulu’s rising star Shera Mae Patricio (7-0, 3 KOs) is set to face off against Mexico City’s Maribel Ramirez (15-13-4, 3 KOs). Turning professional in September 2024, Patricio boasts an impressive amateur background, winning the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. LAS VEGAS, NV – Jan 9, 2026 — Manny Pacquiao Promotions (“MPP”) today announced its second U.S. event, scheduled for Saturday, February 28, at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. This sophomore event stateside for MPP marks Manny Pacquiao’s return to Upstate New York for the first time since his monumental induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame last June. The action-packed fight card will be headlined by a 10-round WBO Featherweight International Championship bout between knockout artists Elijah Pierce (21-2, 17 KOs) and Lorenzo Parra (23-1-1, 17 KOs), a matchup originally slated to headline MPP’s sold-out U.S. debut before being postponed due to illness.

Now rescheduled, Pierce and Parra will finally square off in the main event as both fighters look to position themselves for a world title opportunity.

Pierce, 29, enters the bout on the strength of 12 straight victories and on the heels of securing the WBO International Featherweight Championship last July against Michael Dasmarinas. Now the Oklahoma City-born star faces his greatest challenge in Parra, who has an identical staggering knockout count of 17. In a main event pitting two featherweights at the top of their game, Parra has not suffered a defeat in over eight years as he prepares for just his third fight in the United States in his career.

Mills, 24, has made Turning Stone Resort Casino his home base of sorts as he has competed at the historic venue six times, registering six wins. A quickly rising contender in the super lightweight division, Mills aims to kick off 2026 with another victory, following a successful 2025, which included three dominant wins.

Also featured on the February 28 lineup will be the return of Manny “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr. (0-0-1), continuing his professional journey under the guidance of Manny Pacquiao Promotions, following a controversial draw in his pro debut. Showcasing promise and composure in his pro debut, all eyes will be on Pacquiao Jr. as he competes near the International Boxing Hall of Fame, a place where his father was ceremoniously enshrined last year.

Highly regarded 19-year-old prospect Curmel “Big Deal” Moton (8-0, 6 KOs) will return to the ring in association with Mayweather Promotions, as he looks to extend his impressive unbeaten streak. Santa Ynez, CA (August 15, 2025) Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions presented another stellar Hollywood Fight Nights event on Friday night at the Chumash Casino Resort and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

Fighting in the main event, Omar Trinidad, (19-0-2, 13 KOs), of Boyle Heights, CA battled to a hotly contested ten-round draw against Lorenzo Parra, (23-1-1, 17 KOs) of Machiques, Venezuela. Scores were 96-94 for Trinidad and 95-95 twice as Trinidad held onto his WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title.

Following a measured opening two rounds, the two combatants threw caution away firing their full arsenals at each other as the huge crowd at Chumash Casino Resort roared with approval throughout. After the fight, Parra proposed to his girlfriend in the ring – she said Yes!!

Fighting for the third time in the United States, Mizuki Hiruta, (9-0, 2 KOs), shined in her fifth defense of her WBO Super Flyweight World Title against previously undefeated Naomy Cardenas Gomez, (9-1, 2 KOs) of Chihuahua, Mexico. Scores for the unanimous decision victory were 100-90 twice and 98-92.

With the renowned Manny Robles guiding her, Hiruta displayed excellent defense while scoring at will with a variety of counter punches helping the colorful southpaw rack up points against the game Gomez.

22-year-old junior lightweight Abel Mejia (9-0, 5 KOs), continues to validate his must-see attraction reputation, stopping former world title challenger Aston Palicte, (28-9-1, 23 KOs) in the second round.

Dropped in the opening stanza by Palicte, Mejia would send the native of the Philippines to the canvas in the second round, earning the exciting stoppage at 1:34 from a barrage of unanswered punches.

Maywood, CA native Guadalupe Medina, (11-0, 2 KOs), fought to the distance over eight rounds in a very heated battle with Mexico’s Rubi Gutierrez, (5-3-1). Scores for Medina were 80-72, 77-75 and 77-75 for Gutierrez.

Just 21-years-old, Medina showed her grit fighting through adversity from the hard throwing Gutierrez. Finishing strong in the final round, Medina demonstrated her world class level capping off the victory in style.

Opening the main card, featherweight rising star Angel Carrillo, (5-0-1, 2 KOs), of Oxnard, CA took a four round dominant unanimous decision over Damien Basulto, (3-1, 1 KO), of Compton, CA. Scores were 40-36 twice and 39-37.

Fighting in the prelims, junior lightweight Abraham Morales, (2-0, 1 KO) defeated Nesly Trezile(1-4) by unanimous decision. Dropping Trezile in the third stanza, Morales earned the victory by scores of 39-36, 39-36 and 38-37.

Pro debuting Jonathan Vasquez, (1-0), won a four-round decision over Brian Rodriguez, (0-1) by scores of 40-36 on all three judge’s scorecards in the lightweight division.

Drawing huge crowds for his main events in Los Angeles over the last three years, Omar Trinidad has become a must-see attraction for his exciting victories against top competition. Kicking off his 2025 campaign on January 17, the Boyle Heights, CA native won a dominant ten-round decision over Filipino star Mark Plania. Following up on May 17, Trinidad made the fourth defense of his title with another exciting ten-round decision over Alexander Espinoza.  

Trinidad is currently world ranked by all four sanctioning bodies; #2 by the IBF, #4 by the WBC, #6 by the WBO and #10 by the WBA.

Fighting for the first time in the United States, Lorenzo Parra defeated highly touted contender Javon Woodard Jr., (12-1), on August 18, 2023 in his hometown of Atlanta, GA. Parra looks to stamp his ticket towards bigger fights in the featherweight division with an upset of unbeaten Trinidad.

Kurt Scoby remained undefeated with a sixth round stoppage over Narcisco Carmona in a eight-round junior welterweight bout at The Overtime Arena in Atlanta.

In round six, Scoby started pounding away on Carnona by landing vicious hooks and the fight was stopped at 2:31.

Scoby of New York is 13-0 with 11 knockouts. Carnmona of Spain is 11-1-1.

Shawn McCalman remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Money Powell IV in a super middleweight bout.

McCalman landed 58 of 346 punches. Powell was 58 of 275.

McCalman, 167.2 lbs of Denver won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74 and is now 14-0. Powell, 168 lbs of Phoenix City, AL is 13-2.

In a tremendous war that went to the “Overtime” round, Lorenzo Parra II outlasted Javon Woodard in a super bantamweight contest.

In round seven, Woodard started to bleed from his mouth.

Parra landed 261 of 726 punches. Woodard was 207 of 631.

Parra, 122.8 lbs of Machiques, VEN won by scores of 86-85 twice with Woodard winning a card 86-85. Parra is now 23-1. Woodard, 122.6 lbs of Raleigh, NC is 12-2.

LeAnna Cruz remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Maryguenn Vellinga in a flyweight bout.

Cruz landed 88 of 271 punches. Vellinga was 34 of 224.

Cruz, 111.6 lbs of Allentown, PA won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is 6-0. Vellinga, 111.2 lbs of Park City, UT is 4-4-2.

Asa Stevens remained undefeated with a four-round split decision over D’Angelo Hopgood in a super bantamweight fight.

Stevens, 121.7 lbs of Waianae, HI won by scores of 40-36, 39-37 and Hopgood took a card 39-37.

Stevens landed 66 of 205 punches. Hopgood was 67 of. 273.

Stevens is 5-0. Hopgood, 121.2 lbs of Milwaukee is 2-2-1.

Javier Zamarron remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Sabastian Santiago in a featherweight bout.

In round one, Zamarron dropped Santiago with a perfect counter left to the head.

Zamarron landed 87 of 265 punches. Santiago was 52 of 307.
