February 5, 2021–Two highly entertaining bouts will be on tonight’s edition of Classic Fight Night on fubo Sports Network at 8 PM ET.

Petr Petrov battles Michael Perez in a lightweight bout. Also featured will be a special heavyweight throwdown as Andrey Fedosov takes on Mario Heredia.

The fight between Petrov (37-4-2, 18 KOs) and Perez (24-1-2, 11KOs) had major ramifications. The the winner earned a shot at the world lightweight title. It was a high-stakes entertaining battle that took place on September 30, 2016, at The Fantasy Springs Casino Resort in Indo, California.

On June 11, 2016, Fedosov (28-3, 23 KOs) and Heredia (13-1, 11 KOs) took part in a heavyweight slugfest that saw Heredia start well. Fedosov, making his first ring appearance since winning the Boxcino Heavyweight tournament, showed his championship-level experience on his way to victory and a stake as a top contender.

TUCSON, Arizona (November 9, 2019) – Heavy-handed California heavyweight Alexander “The Great” Flores returned to the ring last Thursday night with a vengeance, knocking out Mario “Chabelo” Heredia in the sixth round of the RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS main event, outdoors Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater in Tucson, Arizona.

RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS was streamed live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

The 29-year-old Flores (18-2-1, 16 KOs) hadn’t fought since last December in New Zealand, when he lost a controversial fight to former world champion Joseph Parker, in which Parker struck Flores numerous times below the belt, leading to a knockout.

Knockout-artist Flores floored his Mexican opponent, Heredia, three times during their fight in the third, fifth and the finisher in the sixth. Flores, who is a former World Boxing Council (WBC) World Youth champion, used a vicious body attack, resulting in the last two knockdowns, against the 282-pound Heredia (16-8-1, 13 KOs).

Flores’ only two losses have been to world champions Parker and Charles Martin. Heredia, a former WBC FECOMBOX champion, who only three fights ago won a split decision over former WBC heavyweight world champion and Nigerian Olympian Samuel Peter.

In the co-featured event, red-hot Mexican welterweight Santiago Dominguez (20-0, 16 KOs) blasted Ravshan Hudayhazarov (17-3, 13 KOs), the Uzbekistan fighter, stopping him only 43-seconds into the opening round in a devastating performance.

In his RJJ Boxing Promotions debut, undefeated California super middleweight Juan “Just Business” Barajas (11-0, 7 KOs) pitched a complete shutout victory, winning each round on all three-judges’ scorecards, in a unanimous decision over Phoenix veteran Fidel Hernandez (20-8-1, 11 KOs), who announced before the fight that this would be his last.

In the UFC FIGHT PASS opener, unbeaten Tucson welterweight Christopher Gonzalez (6-0-1, 1 KO) pulled off a mild upset, taking an eight-round unanimous decision from Marcos “Nazzy” Dominguez (11-2-1, 10 KOs), the younger brother of Santiago.

Local fan favorite Briana “Amenaza” Sanchez (2-0-1, 2 KOs) and pro-debuting junior flyweight Amanda Borg (0-0-1), of Albuquerque, battled to a four-round majority draw in the opening, off UFC FIGHT PASS fight of evening.

LAS VEGAS (October 17, 2019) – Heavyweights will grab the spotlight on November 7, when Alex “The Great” Flores takes on Mario “Chabelo” Heredia, headlining the latest installment of RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS®, to be streamed live and exclusively from Casino Del Sol’s outdoor AVA Amphitheater in Tucson, Arizona at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

Promoted by Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boxing Promotions, four potentially explosive bouts will stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports, starting at 9 p.m. ET.

The 29-year-old Flores (17-2-1, 15 KOs) is a knockout artist from Rowland Heights, California, whose only two losses as a professional have been to world champions, Joseph Parker and Charles Martin. A former World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World heavyweight champion, Flores’ most recent fight was a controversial loss in New Zealand to Parker, who struck Flores numerous times below the bout, leading to a knockout.

Flores and Mario “Chabelo” Heredia (16-7-1, 13 KOs), a former WBC FECOMBOX champion from Mexico, will throw-down in the 10-round main event. Two fights ago, Heredia upset former WBC heavyweight world champion and Nigerian Olympian Samuel Peter by split decision.

Undefeated Mexican welterweight Santiago “Somer” Dominguez (19-0, 15 KOs) puts his untarnished pro record on the line in an eight-rounder versus his Uzbekistan opponent, Ravshan Hudaynmazarov, who was the 2007 World Military Games champion.

The UFC FIGHT PASS opener pits undefeated California super middleweight Juan Jose “Nazzy” Dominguez (11-1-1, 10 KOs) in his RJJ Boxing debut against Fidel Hernandez (20-7-1, 11 KOs), of Phoenix.

‘El Animal’ Filip Hrgovi? (9-0, 7 KOs) brutally dismantled Mario Heredia (16-7-1, 13 KOs) earning a third round TKO victory at the Cum Hermosillo in Mexico, to defend his WBC International heavyweight title.

Twelve thousand Mexican fight fans got to witness ‘El Animal’ in action as the highly ranked Croatian sensation took just three rounds to dismantle the experienced Heredia, with a thudding right hand knocking Heredia onto the canvas before the referee waved off proceedings. 

“The crowd was absolutely fantastic, it was an honour to fight for the Mexican fans tonight,” said the undefeated Hrgovi?. “Step by step I’m climbing to the top. I was asked what I think about fighting on the Anthony Joshua card in Saudi Arabia. I’m grateful for the opportunities and I’ll fight anyone. I’m expecting a big name so I can show the world who I am.”

Promoter Nisse Sauerland was delighted with his fighter’s performance and echoed Hrgovi?’s big fight aspirations.

Hrgovi? defended his WBC International Heavyweight title against America’s Gregory Corbin (15-2, 9 KOs) in May 2019 in Maryland, USA and now defends his title once more against Mario Heredia, from Chihuahua, Mexico.

The Croatian boxing sensation returns to action following a first-round knockout win over Gregory Corbin in Maryland, and will be aiming for knockout number seven against the in-form Mexican at the Centro de Usos Múltiples.
