Pagan Stops Montgomery in 9 on Cuts
Joshua Pagan remained undefeated with a ninth round stoppage of Maliek Montgomery due to cuts in their 10-round lightweight bout at Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In round two, Montgomery was cut around the left eye. The cut kept getting worse and Montgomery was a bloody mess.
The fight was finally stopped at 2:44 of round nine.
Pagan, 134.6 lbs of Grand Rapids, MI is now 14-0 with five stoppages. Montgomery, 132.4 lbs of Macon, GA is 20-2.
Ashleyann Lozada won a eight-round unanimous decision over Melissa Odessa Parker in a super bantamweight bout.
Lozada, 121,2 lbs of Corozal, PR won by scores of 80-72 twice and 79-73 and is now 3-0. Parker, 121.6 lbs of Brooklyn, NY is 6-4-1.
Felix Parrilla remained undefeated by stopping Kenneth Taylor in round three of their eight-round featherweight bout.
Parrilla dropped Taylor in the opening round with a little right that was followed by a short uppercut. In round three, Parrilla sent Taylor to a knee for the 10-count at 2:38.

Kiria Tapia won an eight-round unanimous decision over Marianela Ramirez in a junior lightweight bout.
