Athens, JUNE 27, 2026 – Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr., the most successful and undefeated boxer in history, will step into the ring in Athens, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and the very foundations of global sport. Mayweather Jr will face Greek icon “Iron” Mike Zambidis in BATTLE OF THE LEGENDS at the Telekom Center Athens, OAKA Olympic Complex, on Saturday, June 27, with the full fight card to be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN, the undisputed global home of boxing.

The American professional boxer with the undefeated record of 50-0 that won 15 major world championships spanning five weight classes from super featherweight to light middleweight and Bronze Olympic Champion. Mayweather is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive boxers of all time, known for his extraordinary technical skill, strategic intelligence, and exceptional accuracy inside the ring.

Standing opposite him is the Greek legend of boxing and kickboxing, “Iron” Mike Zambidis. The main card of BATTLE OF THE LEGENDS features a total of 18 high-level matchups, creating a unique combat sports spectacle that brings together boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and freestyle wrestling.

In boxing, fans will witness several highly anticipated contests, including the bout between the Greek Youth Champion Alexandros Beltekos andgold medalist Dionysis Stroubis, rising star Michalis “The Spartan” Tsamalidis facing the experienced Charilis Malichoudis, as well as three-time GreekChampion Odysseas Tsakouridis taking on the undefeated WBF International Champion Gelian Rojkou.

Particular attention will be drawn to the women’s boxing matchup between four-time Greek Champion and three-time European Champion Anna Maria Tryfylli and Serbian professional boxer Sara Marjanovic. One of the best pound-for-pound fighters of all time, Floyd Mayweather’s legendary career saw him compile a perfect 50-0 record while winning 15 major world championships spanning five weight classes, from super featherweight to light middleweight. Mayweather was named “Fighter of the Decade” for the 2010s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) and The Sporting News. He is also a three-time winner of the BWAA Fighter of the Year and a six-time winner of the ESPY Award’s Best Fighter.

Mike Zambidis is a legendary Greek kickboxer and 18-time world champion, best known for his career in K-1 MAX. A former member of the Greek National Boxing Team, Zambidis was part of the pre-Olympic squad for the 2000 Sydney Games.

During his record-breaking boxing and kickboxing careers, Zambidis compiled a record of 158-22 with 87 knockouts against the best kickboxers in the world, and for the most important organizations in the planet. In a worldwide vote, Zambidis was named K-1 MVP by an outstanding majority of 42.6%. His fights in K-1 were ranked as the best fights gathering 60% of all votes, while the second athlete gathered only 7.8% of votes. Zambidis’ fights receive record television viewership in his native Greece and his KO victory over Chahid “The Pitbull” Oulad El Hadj is characterized as the best fight in the history of kickboxing.
