Mosley Jr. Stops Bohachuk in 6

Shane Mosley Jr. stopped Serrhii Bohachuk in round six of their 10-round middleweight bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

In round six, Mosley landed a right that buckled Bohachuk and followed up with a right to the side of the head that put Bohachuk down. Bohachuk was hurt and Mosley jumped on him with a hard flurry on the ropes and the fight was stopped at 2:38.

Mosley, 160 lbs of Las Vegas is 23-5 with 13 knockouts. Bohachuk, 160 lbs of Vinnytsia, UK is 27-4.

Julian Rodriguez Decisions Perrella

Julian Rodriguez won a 10-rround unanimous decision over previously undefeated James Perrella in a welterweight fight.

RRodriguez, 147 lbs of Bergen County, NJ won by scores of 100-89 and 98-91 twice and is now 26-1. Perrella, 147 lbs of Saint Petersburg, FL is 21-1.

Katzourakis Decisions Rodriguez

Andreas Katzourakis won a 10-round unanimous decision over Misaell Rodriguez in a fight with undefeated middleweights.

Vanhouter hurt Murphy with a left to the body and backed him up to the ropes with a vicious flurry that was highlighted by a big uppercut and the fight was stopped at 1:06.

Tullo Boymatov made a impactful pro debut with an opening round stoppage of Caleb Hall in a six-round light heavyweight bout.

In round one, Boymatov landed left hook that put Hall on the canvas. Seconds laster, three more thudding blows has Hall draped over the top top rope and the fight was stopped at 2:42.

Callum Walsh Decisions Ocampo in Zuffa Boxing Inaugural Card

Callum Walsh remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Carlos Ocampo at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

The fight headlined an eight-bout card which was the debut of Zuffa Boxing

In round six, Rodriguez landed a left to the shoulder, that made the glove of Walsh touch the canvas. In round eight, Ocampo began to bleed from the nose. In round nine, Ocampo was deducted a point for low blow.

Walsh outlanded Ocampo 156-106.

Misael Rodriguez Stops Deanda After 4

Misael Rodriguez stopped previously undefeated Austin Deanda after round four of their 10-round middleweight bout.

Rodriguez dominated the bout and the fight was called as Deanda complained of double vision

Julian Rodriguez Decisions Cain Sandoval

Julian Rodriguez won a 10-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Cain Sandoval in a welterweight bout.

In round six, Sandoval began to bleed from the nose. In round seven, Rodriguez was cut under the right eye.

Omar Trinidad stopped Max Ornelas in the 10th and final round of their featherweight bout.

In round two, Trinidad dropped Ornelas with a counter right. In round three, both guys threw and landed, but it was the left hook of Trinidad that made Ornelas hit the canvas. Later in the round, Trinidad landed a perfect left to the jaw that put Ornelas down for a second time in the round.

Trinidad continued to beat down Ornelas and in round 10, the fight was stopped after Ornelas had an apparent shoulder injury at 30 seconds.

Floyd Diaz won a eight-round unanimous decision over Guillermo Gutierrez in a bantamweight bout.

Gutierrez was cut around the right eye in the first round.

In a battle of undefeated featherweight, Troy Nash won a six-round unanimous decision over Jaycob Ramos.

SATURDAY: Omar Chavez-Misael Rodriguez All-Mexican Super Middleweight Battle to Stream LIVE in the U.S. on ESPN+

(Jan. 22, 2025) — Omar Chavez will face unbeaten Olympian Misael Rodriguez in the 10-round super middleweight main event this Saturday, Jan. 25, at Arena Potosi in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. 

This all-Mexican clash was initially slated for October 2024, but it was canceled on fight night due to weight issues. Chavez, son of boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez, aims to settle unfinished business with Rodriguez, who captured a 2016 Olympic bronze medal.

Chavez-Rodriguez and undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ starting at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT.

Chavez (41-8-1, 28 KOs) has reeled off three stoppages since a June 2022 loss to Rafael Amarillas Ortiz, including a second-round knockout of Michi Muñoz last May. Rodriguez (14-0, 7 KOs) hasn’t fought in the U.S. since September 2019, when he vanquished Brandon Maddox in the third round. Since then, he’s won four times in Mexico and now looks to overcome a 19-month layoff. In his last outing, he prevailed via eight-round unanimous decision over Ricardo Bañuelos Cernas in his home state of Chihuahua.

Misael Rodriguez won a 10-round unanimous decision over Omar Chavez in a super middleweight bout at the Arena Pitosi in San Luis Pastosi, Mexico.

Rodriguez, 169.1 lbs of Chihuahua, MEX won by scores of 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94 and is now 15-0. Chavez, 169.3 lbs of Culican, MEX is 41-9-1.

Cristian Burgos stopped Jose Eduardo Gomez in the second round.

Burgos dropped Gomez with a left to the body in the second round for the 10-count.

Burgos of Los Mochis is 11-1 with eight knockouts. Gomez of Chiapis is 16-4-1.

Jose Amaro stopped Luis Rodriguez in round 10.

In round eight, Rodriguez was bleeding from his nose. Amaro battered Rodriguez throughout rounds seven, eight and nine. Finally in round 10, Amaro landed a huge right hook that sent Rodriguez stumbling to the ropes and the bout was stopped.

Amaro is now 12-0-1 with four knockouts. Rodriguez is 15-2.

Jorge Ascano stopped Adrian Robles in round four.

In round four, Ascono landed a hard left hook that put Robles down and the fight was stopped.

Ascono is 11-1-1 with eight knockouts. Robles is 6-2-1.

Axel Delgado and Carlos Montovan fought to a four-round draw.

Delgado is is 2-1-1. Montovan is 4-0-2.

Camila Zamarano won a 10-round unanimous decision over Yoselyn Perez in a light flyweight bout.

In round five, Zamarano dropped Perez with a big left hook

Zamarano is 11-0. Perez is 5-1-1.

Fernando Quiroz stopped Diego Briceno in the second round of their super flyweight bout.

Quiroz landed a perfect right hand to the head that dumped Briceno down to the canvas and the fight was over.
