MOST VALUABLE PROMOTIONS, THE GLOBAL HOME OF WOMEN’S BOXING, SIGNS UNDEFEATED #2 WBO AND IBF CONTENDER LUPITA MEDINA

NEW YORK, NY – June 4, 2026 — Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced the signing of undefeated 22-year-old Nicaraguan-American boxer, 5x Junior Olympics champion, and current #2 WBO and IBF contender Lupita Medina (12-0, 3 KOs). Medina becomes the latest signee to join MVP following the company’s launch of MVPW, the new year-round global home of women’s boxing, delivering fans the best fighters in the sport. Medina is the latest athlete of Nicaraguan heritage to join MVP following the company’s signings of Yokasta and Naomy Valle in 2025.

WBO and IBF No. 2 contender Lupita “Babyface Assassin” Medina is one of the brightest rising stars in women’s boxing. Medina began boxing in 2012 and quickly established herself as an elite amateur, capturing five Junior Olympic National Championships before turning professional in 2022. The ambidextrous fighter trains under Edgar Jasso, Manny Robles, and Matias Erbin at Legends Boxing Academy and resides in Maywood, California. Outside the ring, Medina is pursuing a degree at California State University, Long Beach, currently on educational leave as she focuses on her boxing career.

Inspired by her father, a former amateur boxer in Nicaragua, and her brother, who compiled a 9-0 professional record with eight knockouts before retiring due to injury, Medina is carrying forward a dream they both helped ignite while forging her own legacy. Growing up, she was often told she was “too girly” to box, but those doubts only strengthened her passion for the sport, teaching her to be feminine, confident, and a fierce competitor all at once. Proud of her Nicaraguan heritage, she is motivated by the opportunity to represent her people on the sport’s biggest stages and aims to become one of Nicaragua’s next boxing superstars while inspiring the next generation to dream big.

“I’m incredibly honored and grateful to join MVP. Being part of a promotion that is changing the game for women’s boxing and giving female athletes the platform they deserve is exactly where I want to be,” said Lupita Medina. “To be welcomed into a team that genuinely believes in investing in female fighters means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to doing my part in helping women’s boxing continue to grow. As a proud Nicaraguan, every time I step into the ring I carry my country with me. Representing Nicaragua on the world stage has always been one of my biggest motivations and something I take great pride in. This is a huge step in my career, and I’m committed to continuing my journey toward becoming a world champion while making my mark as Nicaragua’s next superstar, with MVP by my side.”

“Lupita Medina is on the cusp of greatness as an undefeated 22-year-old talent, already ranked #2 in the world across two sanctioning bodies and representing the fighting spirit of Nicaragua every time she steps into the ring,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “As MVP continues to expand its presence across Latin America and invest in the future of women’s boxing, we believe Lupita has all the tools to become Nicaragua’s next world champion. We look forward to her promotional debut soon as part of MVPW, the global home of women’s boxing.”

In the main card opener, MVP’s newest signee, German Olympian Nelvie Tiafack will face San Diego, California’s Ramiro Robles. Tiafack’s journey began long before he entered the ring. Growing up in Cameroon, he faced the loss of his father at just 2 years old, a turning point that motivated him throughout his life. Inspired by his mother’s strength and sacrifices, who moved to Europe to create a better future for him, he found the determination to overcome challenges. At the age of 8, he traveled alone from Cameroon to Cologne, Germany, showing courage beyond his years. After two years apart, he reunited with his mother in a new country, where her support became his foundation. Their home was filled with shared experiences and sacrifices, reminding him that achieving goals requires dedication. At 15, he discovered boxing, where he could channel his energy and compete on his own terms. His achievements include becoming a 5x German amateur champion, a European Championship gold medal, and being the first German super heavyweight boxer to win an Olympic medal in Paris 2024, reflecting both physical skill and a strong mindset shaped by his mother’s example. Tiafack’s notable wins include UK amateur titan Delicious Orie, British Olympian and 2020 Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Frazer Clarke, and Armenian heavyweight standout Gurgen Hovhannisyan. When the 26-year-old steps into the ring, he fights not only for victory but also to honor his mother’s influence and inspire others facing their own challenges. Tiafack will face American heavyweight Ramiro Robles over 6 rounds. Robles, the 28-year-old prospect, comes to the ring from San Diego, California following his latest TKO win in June 2025.

“MVP is the most disruptive promotion out there,” said Nelvie Tiafack. “They understand the game in and outside the ring, putting their fighters on big stages and also helping them grow their brand through huge social media exposure. My goal is to become the best in my division and become an MVP, so it’s a no brainer why I chose to work with Most Valuable Promotions.”

“Most Valuable Prospects is about introducing fans to talent that can define the future of boxing, and this card delivers on that mission,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “Our newest signee, Nelvie Tiafack, is an Olympic bronze medalist making his professional debut under the MVP banner, and we believe he has all the tools to become a world champion. Nelvie now joins our growing roster of Olympians including Tamm Thibeault from Canada, Keno Marley from Brazil, Yankiel Rivera from Puerto Rico, and Jahmal Harvey from the U.S. This card will also feature one of the youngest megastars in the sport in Wanna Walton proving himself against his toughest opponent to date in Anthony Mora, a rising superstar in Costa Rica’s Naomy Valle, and other Canadian and international prospects eager to prove themselves on a global stage. Montreal has a rich boxing history, and on Saturday, September 27, fans will witness the next generation carrying that tradition forward live on DAZN.”

MVP’s 20-year-old undefeated light flyweight Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs), from San Jose, Costa Rica, has established herself as one of boxing’s brightest prospects. In her most recent fight in March 2025, Valle maintained her unbeaten streak and earned her first title honors, becoming the WBC Youth world champion at 108 pounds after defeating Mexican fighter Yelmi Sánchez. Outside the ring, she made history by winning the first season of popular dance show Mira Quién Baila Costa Rica on Teletica, securing 34.91% of the public vote. With her victory, she donated the $15,000 prize to the National Children’s Hospital, Fundación para el Desarrollo del Hospital Nacional de Niños. Beyond that, she is also studying aviation and recently completed her first official flight with pilot Alessandro Serrano from Aero Formación. During her preparation for the fight that earned her the WBC world title, she balanced boxing training with theoretical studies and flight simulations, demonstrating her dedication in both fields. Her opponent, Federica Macrí is a 25-year-old from Aosta, Valle d’Aosta, Italy. Before turning pro, Macrí held a decorated amateur career including a silver medal at the 2022 Italian Elite National Championships. Macrí then made her professional debut in 2023, most recently earning a first-round TKO win earlier this month.

Seasoned prospect Hendri Cedeno fights out of Reading, Pennsylvania, USA by way of La Romana, Dominican Republic. The 27-year-old, represented by Boxlab Promotions, turned professional in May 2021, collecting an impressive 13 wins in just under three years before joining Team Combat League’s Philly Smoke in April 2024. Cedeno now makes his return to the Most Valuable Prospects series following his standout performances on the series’ 8th and 10th installments in 2024. His opponent, Alejandro Frias, comes to the ring from Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. The super lightweight prospect has finished his last two opponents by knockout.

Also on the preliminary card, MVP’s recent Ontario, Canada signee Amanda Galle (11-0-1, 1 KO) will face Mexico’s Alondra Hernandez (8-1) in an 8-round bantamweight bout at 118lbs, and Sherbrooke, Quebec super lightweight prospect Loick Lahaie (2-0) vs. Berlin, Germany’s Rufus-Venice Camara-Macauley (4-0, 3 KOs) in a 6 round middleweight bout.

Most Valuable Prospects 15 is promoted by GYM and distributed globally by DAZN. The 15th event in the series in partnership with Boxlab Promotions will continue the commitment from MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian to highlight the world’s best up-and-coming boxing talent. CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy, maker of lifestyle energy drink, is the exclusive energy drink sponsor of MVP and the Most Valuable Prospects series. MOST VALUABLE PROMOTIONS SIGNS COSTA RICAN POUND-FOR-POUND SUPERSTAR, THREE-DIVISION CHAMPION AND WBC CHAMPION YOKASTA VALLE

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA – August 12, 2025 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today welcomed pound-for-pound superstar, three-division world champion, and current WBC minimumweight champion at 105lbs Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) as its latest elite women’s signee. Valle signed her MVP promotional contract tonight alongside Most Valuable Promotions CEO and co-founder Nakisa Bidarian at a press conference in San Jose, Costa Rica, held at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. Valle, currently ranked Boxrec’s #5 and ESPN’s #10 pound-for-pound women’s boxer globally, was also joined by her sister, recent MVP signee and WBC Youth champion at 108lbs Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs) on stage to celebrate the signing as the company continues to advance its investment and global commitment to women’s boxing. Most Valuable Promotions now promotes 6 of the top 10 women’s pound-for-pound stars globally on Boxrec and 5 of the top 10 on ESPN.

Yokasta Valle  (33-3, 10 KOs) is a world champion boxer born in Nicaragua and raised in Costa Rica. At a young age, her family made the life changing decision to move to Costa Rica in search of a better future. In the heart of San José, Yokasta developed both as a person and as an athlete, forging the values that would define her: discipline, resilience, and an unbreakable will. Growing up with limited resources and countless challenges, Yokasta learned early on that nothing is given, and everything is earned. In a sport historically dominated by men, she carved her own path and fought not only for her own dreams, but to open doors for women in boxing. Before turning professional, Yokasta had a decorated amateur career, earning two Central American championship titles. As a professional, she won her first world title in 2016 and since then, she has never looked back. She has gone on to conquer six world titles across three weight divisions (102, 105, and 108 lbs), establishing herself as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, currently holding the WBC minimumweight title at 105lbs since November 2024. Her reign has been marked by consistency, dominance, and a fearless attitude, often defeating world champions in their own countries that mark her resume with international fights and global exposure. Throughout this time, Valle has also championed equal pay in women’s boxing, fighting for and achieving the same purse conditions as male boxers in similar positions.

Outside the ring, the 32-year-old is an entrepreneur, boxing promoter, and social role model. She is the first world champion in Central America to run her own promotional company, Yoka Sports & Boxing Promotions, where she creates opportunities for the next generation of fighters, especially women. She is also the face of leading brands like Vaseline, Kolbi, Grupo Mutual, Dexketo, and Chery, and is celebrated as a national sports ambassador in Costa Rica not only for her achievements, but for living a life that exemplifies hard work, consistency, and humility.

In 2023, she was recognized by the United Nations as their Costa Rica Champion for the example she set in the fight for women’s rights and migrants’ rights, continuing to prove her relentless spirit both inside and beyond the ropes. On a personal level, she remains grounded and deeply connected to her family, especially her younger sister Naomy Valle, a rising professional boxer, recent signee to MVP, and aspiring pilot who continues Yokasta’s legacy in and out of the ring.

“Today marks a new chapter in my career, and I couldn’t be more excited to announce that I’m joining Most Valuable Promotions. This signing is not just a step for me—it’s a step forward for all of Latin American women’s boxing, proving that our stories, our talent, and our passion deserve to be on the biggest stages,” said Yokasta Valle. “I’ve walked a path full of sacrifices, tough training, and battles inside and outside the ring. Every punch, every victory, and every setback has prepared me for this moment. MVP has shown they believe in women and in our ability to fill arenas and break barriers, and I’m here to leave my heart in every fight. Thank you to MVP for believing in me, to my team who never let go of me, and to all my Latino people who have supported me, no matter the distance. This new stage is for you… because together, we’re going to keep making history.”

“Yokasta Valle is a trailblazer and one of the most accomplished and respected champions in boxing, and she’s just getting started,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “As a three-division champion and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, she has created generational impact and inspired young girls across Central America. Now at MVP, her story will continue to transcend geographical barriers and resonate with fans around the world. It is an honor to welcome Yokasta to MVP and to now represent both her and her sister Naomy as we continue our shared mission to elevate women’s boxing globally. The Serrano sisters set a high bar and now the Valle sisters are going to continue the legacy of sisters that reign supreme in boxing.”

MOST VALUABLE PROMOTIONS SIGNS FOUR WOMEN’S BOXING POWERHOUSES, UNIFIED BANTAMWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION DINA THORSLUND, MULTI-TALENTED ICON RAMLA ALI, WBC YOUTH LIGHT FLYWEIGHT CHAMPION NAOMY VALLE, AND 15X AMATEUR NATIONAL CHAMPION NAT DOVE

NEW YORK, NY – March 26, 2025 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced the signing of Denmark’s two-weight world champion, reigning unified bantamweight world champion and Boxrec’s #1 pound-for-pound female boxer Dina Thorslund (23-0, 9 KOs), the multi-talented Somali-British boxer, activist, and high fashion model Ramla Ali (9-2, 2 KO), Costa Rica’s 20-year-old undefeated WBC Youth light flyweight world champion Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs), and 15x US national amateur champion Nat “No Love”’ Dove (4-0). The signings of Thorslund and Ali mark MVP’s first European fighters while Valle and Dove’s additions reinforce its commitment to identifying and developing elite boxing prospects. Now under the MVP banner, Thorslund, Ali, Valle, and Dove are primed to reach new heights, embodying MVP’s mission to elevate and empower female athletes on the global stage.

MVP’s signings of Thorslund, Ali, Valle, and Dove cap off a groundbreaking Women’s History Month for the company, highlighted by the historic lifetime combat sports agreement with boxing trailblazer and seven-division world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano. Under the deal, Serrano will compete under the MVP banner for the remainder of her boxing career before transitioning to Chairwoman of MVP’s women’s boxing initiatives, where she will spearhead efforts to identify, sign, develop, and market MVP’s growing roster of female athletes. A trailblazer for equality in the sport, Serrano will continue her mission by empowering future generations as both a role model and mentor for rising female fighters.

Following the first-of-its-kind deal, MVP announced the historic Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 trilogy megafight, set for Friday, July 11 at Madison Square Garden, airing live globally, exclusively on Netflix subscription. Taylor vs. Serrano 3 will headline the first-ever all-women’s card in MSG history, setting a new financial standard for female fighters, with Taylor and Serrano earning record-breaking purses and Serrano becoming the highest-paid female athlete for a single event. Further solidifying its commitment to women’s boxing, MVP also recently signed undisputed super featherweight world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner to its growing roster of women’s champions.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, unified bantamweight world champion and two-division champion Dina Thorslund (23-0, 9 KOs) started her boxing journey at the age of 14. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a member of the Danish national team before turning professional in 2015 and winning her debut bout vs. Petra Podráská with a commanding technical knockout. In January 2017, she captured her first honors at super bantamweight, winning the vacant WBC Youth title with a unanimous decision victory over Xenia Jorneac, before capturing the WBC Interim title with a win over Hall of Famer Alicia Ashley in early 2018. Later that year, Thorslund got her first shot at a world title, handily defeating Jessica Arreguin Munoz to become the WBO super bantamweight world champion. Thorslund successfully defended her title three times at super bantamweight before moving down to the bantamweight division to contest for the then-vacant WBO title. In June 2021, Thorslund became a two-division world champion and the new WBO bantamweight world champion with a decisive victory over Jasseth Noriega. In September 2023, Thorslund unified the WBC and WBO bantamweight titles with a dominant win over Yulihan Luna Avila and has successfully defended her bantamweight hardware three times since. With a flawless professional record, the undefeated Thorslund has fought in 13 world title bouts to date, setting a Danish record with 12 consecutive world championship fights. She is currently ranked the #1 pound-for-pound women’s boxer in the world by Boxrec ahead of Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, Gabriela Fundora, Claressa Shields, and others, and is Ring Magazine’s #5 pound-for-pound women’s talent. The 31-year-old Thorslund resides in Struer, Denmark, trains under Thomas Madsen, and is managed by Lee Eaton.

“Most Valuable Promotions is the future of women’s boxing, and I am so proud to join their roster of world-class female champions alongside Amanda Serrano, Shadasia Green, and Alycia Baumgardner and become MVP’s first signee from Denmark,” said Dina Thorslund. “I have worked incredibly hard to become the unified bantamweight champion and a two-division champion. Now Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, and MVP are providing the opportunity for greater equality and global visibility for female athletes like me. I look forward to making history with MVP.”

Ramla Ali (9-2, 2 KO) is a 35-year-old Somali-British professional boxer, philanthropist, high-fashion model, and social activist with a law degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Born in Somalia, Ali and her family fled the country in the 1990s following the loss of her brother in a grenade attack and civil unrest. At age 12, she took up boxing in secret to overcome bullying and obesity, building an exceptional amateur career and becoming the first Muslim woman to win national amateur boxing titles in England in 2015 and 2016. With over 88 amateur fights under her belt, including 50 representing Somalia, Ali became the first female boxer to represent Somalia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She made her pro debut in October 2020, quickly climbing the ranks to win the vacant IBF Intercontinental title at Madison Square Garden in New York in 2023 in just her 8th pro fight, before winning the WBA International super bantamweight title in a hard-fought rematch against Mexico’s Julissa Alejandra Guzman later that year. A deeply passionate advocate for women’s rights and women in boxing, Ali established the Somali Boxing Federation in Mogadishu, Somalia, and founded The Sisters Club in 2018, a charity providing free access to sports and coaching qualifications for over 10,000 women annually from ethnic and religious minorities and those affected by domestic violence. Ali, who also serves as a global ambassador for UNICEF, Cartier, and One & Only, released her debut novel Not Without A Fight in 2021, and her life story has been developed into a biopic, In the Shadows, set to release in Fall 2025. A highly successful model, Ali has also graced the covers of British VogueThe Wall Street JournalELLE, and Harper’s Bazaar, and collaborated with top brands like Moncler, Burberry, Cartier, and Nike. She has also brought fashion inside the ring with standout custom fight kits designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, and Daniel Lee for Burberry. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the fight for women’s equality, Ali was one of twelve extraordinary leaders named among TIME’s 2023 Women of the Year.

“Joining forces with Most Valuable Promotions represents the single most significant decision of my boxing career,” said Ramla Ali. “I’ve observed how Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, and the MVP team have revolutionized women’s boxing, particularly through their work with Amanda Serrano, creating a true blueprint for how promoters should champion female fighters with equal opportunity, visibility, and compensation. As someone who has fought battles both inside and outside the ring throughout my journey, I recognize when transformation is happening in our sport. MVP doesn’t just talk about equality—they demonstrate it through action. What Jake and MVP have built isn’t just changing the trajectory for individual fighters like myself, but reshaping the entire landscape for women in combat sports. This partnership goes beyond business; it’s about creating a legacy that will benefit every female fighter who comes after me.”

Costa Rica’s 20-year-old undefeated light flyweight Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs) has established herself as one of boxing’s brightest prospects. She has not only excelled in the ring but also shown her versatility in other areas.

“I am deeply grateful to Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and the entire team at Most Valuable Promotions, and especially to Amanda Serrano, who has been an inspiration to women in sports,” said Naomy Valle. “Amanda and Jake’s examples of perseverance and constant fighting motivates me every day. Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity. As a female athlete from a small but beautiful country like Costa Rica, I am incredibly proud that MVP has placed their trust in me. This support represents not only a personal achievement but also a global platform where I can showcase my skills and represent my country with all my heart. I am ready to give it all and make my people and my nation proud of me.”

Also joining MVP’s growing roster of top-tier boxing prospects is 23-year-old super flyweight Nat “No Love” Dove (4-0). Following her outstanding amateur career as a 15x US amateur national champion, Dove has quickly emerged as one of women’s boxing’s most promising up-and-coming talents. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native first made waves on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects developmental series, securing unanimous decision wins at Most Valuable Prospects 6 in April 2024 over Alyssia Lopez and at Most Valuable Prospects 8 in early September 2024 against Wendy Villegas. Most recently, Dove took another unanimous decision win over Laddy Mejia in September 2024, continuing to develop her undefeated record. As a training partner to MVP’s own Javon “Wanna” Walton, Dove has dominated every opponent to date from the opening bell. She is managed by DJ Walton and trains out of Atlanta, Georgia.

“I’m incredibly proud to continue my journey toward becoming a world champion with MVP,” said Nat Dove. “This team is deeply committed to providing unparalleled mentorship for rising prospects and female fighters, and I know this will be major—not just for my boxing career, but for my personal brand and visibility as a prospect to watch. A huge thank you to Nakisa, Jake, Wanna, and all of Team Walton for believing in my future and welcoming me so warmly into the MVP family.”

“MVP is committed to signing fighters who are not only champions in the ring but also game-changers for the sport, and we’re proud to welcome Dina, Ramla, Naomy and Nat to the MVP family,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “Dina is an undefeated two-division world champion and pound-for-pound elite who has dominated in Denmark and is now ready to become an international star. Ramla is a global force for change, using her platform to break barriers and empower women worldwide. And Naomy and Nat represent the future—rising prospects with the drive and talent to become a household name. Their signings mark a pivotal moment for MVP as we expand our fighter footprint into Europe while continuing to build the strongest women’s roster in boxing. It is all about the W.”
