McKenna Decisions Oliha To Win IBF Middleweight Title

Aaron McKenna won the IBF Middleweight Title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Etimodo Oliha at the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ohio

In round 11, McKenna was bleeding from his forehead from a headbutt.

McKenna of Ireland won by scores of 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112 and is now 21-0. Oliha of Italy is 22-1.

Walsh Decisions Denny

Callum Walsh won a 10-round unanimous decision over Tyler Denny in a middleweight fight.

In round one, Walsh ducked under punches and took a knee for a knockdown. In round two, Walsh landed a right hook that put Denny on the canvas.

n round eight, each fighter was deducted a point for holding.

Walsh of Ireland won by scores of 98-91 twice and 96-90 and is now 17-0. Denny of England is 20-5.

Ward Decisions Kasparian

Joe Ward won a 10-round unanimous decision over Artjon Kasparian in a light heavyweight bout.

Ward of Ireland won by scores of 97-93 twice and 96-94 and is now 13-1. Kasparian is now 10-1

Hickey stops Axe in 7

Sam Hickey scored an explosive seventh round stoppage over Brad Axe in a eight-round middleweight fight,

At end of round three, Hickey landed a right

In round seven. Hickey landed a booing right on the jaw that put Axe down and out at 27 seconds.

Hickey is now 6-0 with three knockouts. Axe is 5-2.

Greene Decisions Buciuc

Louis Greene won a six-round decision over Daniel Buciuc in a middleweight fight.

Greene of England won by a 59-55 score and is now 19-4. Buciuc is 16-3.

Stevie McKenna stopped Owen O’Neill in the opening round of their eight-round middleweight fight.

McKenna landed a right hand that literally sent O’Nell flying off his feet into the corner and the fight was stopped 65 seconds into the contest.

McKenna is now 17-1 with 16 knockouts. O’Neill is 10-3.

Connor Coyle remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Mark Bueke in a middleweight fight.

Coyle, 158.8 lbs of Derry, IRE won by scores o 98-92, 98-93 and 97-93 and is now 23-0. Bueke, 159.6 lbs of Corpus Christi, TX us 13-4.

Patrick O’Connor stopped Juan Manuel Moriel after one round of their six-round cruiserweight bout.

O’Connor dominated the action in the opening frame and Moriel complained of a left shoulder injury and the fight was stopped in between rounds.

O’Connor, 200.5 lbs of Washington, DC is 4-0 with four knockouts. Moriel, 191.2 lbs of Utrerea, SPA is 6-2.




Figueroa Stops Perdomo After 4

ATLANTIC CITY–Just Figueroa stopped Jose Edgardo Perdomo after round four of their eight-round junior middleweight bout at The Tropicana Hotel.

Late in round four, Figueroa dropped Perdomo with a left hook to the head. the fight was halted after the round by the corner of Perdomo.

Figueroa, 154 lbs of Atlantic City is 14-0 with 11 knockouts. Perdomo, 153 lbs of Uruguay is 9-8.

Otto Wallin stopped Chris Thomas in a round two of their 10-round heavyweight bout.

Wallin dropped Thomas with a left to the body and the fight was stopped at 1:100.

Josh Popper stopped Trevor Kotara in round three of their four-round heavyweight bout.

Abdullah Mason Stops Nakathila on Cuts

Abdullah Mason remained undefeated as he stopped Jeremia Nakathilia in round five of their 10-round bout at The Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

Mason dominated the action and in round four, hurt and cut Nakathila with four consecutive straight lefts. As the bell sounded for round five, the ringside doctor pulled the plug on the fight as the cut on the left eyelid was deemed too much and the fight was called one second into the round.

In round two, O’Connor landed a huge right to the body that drove Smith to the corner which was ruled a knockdown. O’Connor then lamded a big combination that forced a referee stoppage at 2:03.
