ost Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix today announced that IBF super middleweight world champion Savannah “The Silent Assassin” Marshall will take on WBO super middleweight world champion Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green in a highly anticipated 10 round, 168lbs world title unification bout on the main card of MVP’s Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano trilogy megafight, joining the first all-women’s card in Madison Square Garden history on Friday, July 11, streaming live globally to 300+ million subscribers on Netflix. The bout marks the culmination of years of rivalry between Marshall and Green, both now signed under MVP’s women’s banner, rounding out MVP’s Taylor vs. Serrano 3 main card, consisting entirely of women’s unified and undisputed championship fights.

On the preliminary card will be MVP’s new signee, former undisputed champion and current WBC interim world champion Chantelle “Il Capo” Cameron (20-1, 8 KOs) will face Canada’s Jessica “The Cobra” Camara (14-4-1, 3 KOs) in a 10-round women’s WBC interim super lightweight championship bout at 140lbs. Rounding out the card will be MVP’s multi-talented Somali-British boxer, activist, and high fashion model Ramla Ali (9-2, 2 KO) vs. Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Lila Furtado (11-2, 2 KOs) in an 8-round super bantamweight bout at 122lbs. MVP’s Taylor vs. Serrano 3 will now feature five of the top ten and three of the top four women’s pound-for-pound fighters in the world on Boxrec.

IBF and Ring Magazine super middleweight world champion Savannah “The Silent Assassin” Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) is a two-weight world champion, formerly the undisputed super middleweight world champion in 2023 at 168lbs and WBO middleweight champion from 2020 to 2022 at 160lbs. MVP’s super middleweight powerhouse Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (14-1, 11 KOs) makes her third world title fight appearance against Savannah Marshall on Friday, July 11. Green, the former standout college basketball star and Team USA boxing silver medalist from Patterson, NJ, joined MVP in January 2023. Shortly after, Green defeated former unified world champion Elin Cederroos with a vicious sixth-round TKO, marking the first and only time Cederroos was ever stopped in her career. Headlining the preliminary card of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November 2024, Green defeated Melinda Watpool to become MVP’s first homegrown champion and the new WBO world champion at 168lbs.

Former undisputed super lightweight champion at 140lbs and current WBC interim world super lightweight champion Chantelle “Il Capo” Cameron (20-1, 8 KOs) is one of the most recognized names in women’s boxing. Cameron made her pro boxing debut in May 2017 and earned her first title honors in December 2017, her fifth pro fight, winning the IBO 135lb lightweight world title by stoppage. In 2020, Cameron moved up to 140lbs to contend for the then-vacant WBC super lightweight world title, defeating Adriana Dos Santos Araujo to become a two-division champion. Cameron unified her titles against Mary McGee in October 2021, earning a UD win to add the IBF and Ring Magazine titles to her WBC hardware. Jessica “The Cobra” Camara (14-4-1, 3 KOs) is a 5’6” Canadian professional boxer born in Cambridge, Ontario. Before turning pro, Camara’s distinguished amateur career saw her earn titles at the 2014 United Golden Gloves, the 2015 Canadian Amateur Elite Championships, and the 2016 Brampton Cup before winning her pro debut in March 2017against Heidy Martinez. Camara’s career highlights include a significant win against former world champion Heather Hardy in May 2021 and a closely contested split decision loss to Kali Reis in November 2021 for the WBA, IBO, and vacant WBO super lightweight titles. Camara captured the WBA lightweight Gold title in April 2024 by defeating the previously unbeaten Choi Hyun-mi in South Korea. Furtado’s impressive resume glitters with notable victories including defeating Paola Pamela Benavidez to win the vacant WBC Latino super bantamweight title in June 2022 and the UBO World Title against Bestalia Sanchez in April 2023. Most recently, Furtado defeated Gisele Libanio by unanimous decision in December 2024.

Also on the preliminary card will be MVP’s two-time Canadian Olympian, amateur world champion, and standout middleweight Tamm Thibeault (2-0, 1 KO), continuing to fight every bout in her pro career under equal rules to men, three-minute rounds, in an 8 round bout against the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF’s #1 contender Mary Casamassa (6-0, 2 KOs), contested at 160 lbs.

In a much hyped event, Jake Paul won a unanimous decision over 58-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in front of a massive crowd of over 70,000 fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The fight was void of any sustained action. Tyson looked every bit of a fighter who was 58 years old and 19 years removed of any professional action. Paul was able to and move around the ring and he occasionally mixed in a right hand that would drive the ex-champ back. There were several instances where it looked like Tyson was through for the fight, but he was able to manage be around for the final bell.

Paul landed 78 of 278 punches. Tyson was just 19 of 97.

Paul of Cleveland won by scores of 80-72 twice and 79-73 twice to raise his record to 11-1. Tyson of Brooklyn is 50-7.

Katie Taylor Defeats Amanda Serrano Again to Retain Undisputed Super Lightweight Title

In a rematch that lived up to the exceptional predecessor, Katie Taylor retained the undisputed super lightweight title with a razor thin unanimous decision over Amanda Serrano.

Serrano got off to a fast start and buckled Taylor at the end of the first round. In round four, Serrano was cut over her right eye from a headbutt.

In round six, Serrano suffered another bad cut from a headbutt. In round eight, Taylor was deducted a point for the headbutts. Much of the last three rounds were fought in the center of the ring with each fighter throwing and landing much to delight to the crowd.

Taylor landed 217 of 529 punches. Serrano 324 of 734.

Taylor, 137.4 lbs of Bray, IRE won by scores of 95-94 on all cards and is now 24-1. Serrano, 137.4 lbs of Carolina, PR is 47-3-1.

Barrios and Ramos Battle to a Draw

Mario Barrios retained his WBC Welterweight title as he battled Abel Ramos to a 12-round split draw.

In round two, Barrios landed a left hook to the chin that was followed by a straight right that sent Ramos on his back. In round six, Ramos got it back when he landed a powerful right to the jaw that put Barrios down.

In round nine, Barrios began to bleed from the nose. In round 11, Ramos was cut under his left eye.

Barrios landed 29 of 789 punches. Ramos was 204 of 753.

Ramos took a scorecard 116-110, Ramos 114-112 and 113-113.

Barrios, 146.8 lbs of San Antonio is now 29-2-1. Ramos, 146.4 lbs of Casa Grande, AZ is 26-6-3.

Neeraj Goyat Decisions Whindersson Nunes

Neeraj Goyat won a six-round unanimous decision over Brazilian Social Media star Whindersson Nunes in a middleweight fight.

Goyat landed 171 of 481 punches. Nunes was 87 of 365.

Goyat, 162 lbs of India won by scores of 60-54 twice and 59-55 and is now 19-4-2. Nunes, 164 lbs of Brazil is 0-1.

Shadasia Green Wins Super Middleweight Title with Split Decision over Watpool

Shadasia Green won the WBO Super Middleweight title with a 10-round split decision over Melinda Watpool.

Green landed 93 of 346 punches. Watpool was 111 of 409.

Green, 167.8 lbs of Paterson, NJ won by scores of 97-93 and 96-94 while Watpool took a card 96-94. Green is now 15-1. Watpool, 166.8 lbs of Toronto is 7-1.

Bahdi defeats Casamonica via Majority Decision

In a battle of undefeated lightweights, Lucas Bahdi won a 10-round majority decision over Armando Casamonica.

Bahdi landed 124 of 641 punches. Cassamonica was 113 of 577.

Bahdi, 134.6 lbs of Niagara Falls, CAN won by scores of 98-92, 96-93 and 95-95 and is now 18-0. Casamonica, 135.6 lbs of Rome, ITA is 7-1.

Carrington Decisions Coolwell

Bruce Carrington remained undefeated with a eight-round unanimous decision over Dana Coolwell in a featherweight bout.

Carrington scored a knockdown in round eight from a flurry that was started by a left hook.

Carrington landed 237 of 521 punches. Coolwell was 82 of 544.

Carrington,125.8 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 80-70 on all cards and is now 14-0. Coolwell, 125.2 lbs of Queensland, AUS is 13-3.

Canadian boxer Lucas “Prince” Bahdi (17-0, 15 KOs) comes to the ring by way of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The 30-year-old top contender has gone undefeated since making his professional debut in mid-2019, winning his first 11 fights by knockout. Bahdi had unanimous decision wins against Diego Fabian Eligio and Diego Andrade Chavez in 2022 before resuming his knockout streak. In May 2023, Bahdi defeated Jesus Amparan to claim the IBF North American Lightweight title. Bahdi is a top-ranked lightweight by both the IBF and WBA and most recently, proved himself among the best title contenders in the lightweight division when he scored a knockout of the year contender win over H2O Sylve on the main card of Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry in July 2024. 

Orlando, Florida’s Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) will take the ring against Bahdi in a 10-round lightweight bout. The talented 24-year-old prospect made a name for himself in his first major PPV appearance on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry main card in July 2024, in a rematch against Tony Aguilar. The pair’s first meeting resulted in a well-fought split decision draw, contested during MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 5 in February 2024. In the rematch, Marksman impressed with grit, power, and endurance, taking home a majority decision win. He now enters the most difficult test yet of his young career, aiming to prove himself against one of the best lightweight contenders of the world in Bahdi.

The preliminary card will also feature a bout between two top-ranked featherweight talents, the undefeated Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington Jr. (13-0, 8 KOs) vs. Australia’s Dana Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs). The 27-year-old standout prospect Carrington comes to the ring from Brownsville, NY, home of Mike Tyson. Carrington is a three-year pro who has emerged as the featherweight division’s fastest-rising contender, currently ranked No. 2 by the WBC and WBO. He entered the professional ranks following a storied amateur career that included a 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials gold medal. He began his 2024 campaign with February’s highlight-reel knockout of Bernard Torres, which was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Four months later, he dominated Brayan De Gracia en route to an eighth-round stoppage. Carrington now comes into this high-profile fight coming off the stiffest test of his young career, his September 27 majority decision win over Sulaiman Segawa. 

Dana “Deadly” Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs) is a 25-year-old Australian Indigenous boxer, known for his resilience and remarkable journey from adversity to success. A proud Aboriginal man from the Mununjali tribe in Queensland, Coolwell overcame an early life marked by hardship, struggling with direction and purpose amidst family struggles. He discovered boxing at age 14 at Hinterland Boxing Club, where he met Steve Pitt, his coach, mentor, and father figure. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1, 34 KOs) returns to the ring to take on UFC star Uriah Hall, who knocked out Chavez Jr.’s former opponent, Anderson Silva. The pair will face off over 6 rounds, contested at cruiserweight. Chavez Jr., the Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico native and son of former three-division world boxing champion Julio César Chávez, “El Gran Campeón Mexicano,” the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. Chavez Jr. went undefeated in his first 47 fights and became the WBC middleweight world champion in 2011, before being defeated by Sergio Martinez in his fourth title defense. Chavez Jr. last fought in his hometown of Culiacan with a UD win over David Zegarra.

He first made a name for himself on Bellator, and Ring of Combat, when he won the ROC championship. He went on to take second on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen card, before making his debut in the middleweight division of the UFC in 2013, where he secured a record of 18 wins, 14 by KO, including a TKO of Anderson Silva in 2020. Hall retired from the UFC in 2022 in order to make his cruiserweight professional boxing debut against Le’Veon Bell on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva. Hall earned a unanimous decision win in the bout over the NFL running back-turned-boxer.

In another thrilling undercard matchup Angel Barrientes (11-1, 7 KOs) will face Edwin Rodriguez (12-8-2, 5 KOs) over 6 rounds at super bantamweight. The 21-year-old Barrientes comes to the ring from Las Vegas, Nevada by way of Honolulu, Hawaii. Barrientes most recently secured a decisive first-round knockout against Ernesto Sebastian Franzolini in late May 2024, building his current win streak to 8 fights. Barrientes now looks to add Rodriguez to his slate of wins. Rodriguez, a native of Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, has been boxing since age six. In his years as an amateur boxer, Rodriguez was a standout in the Puerto Rican boxing scene, facing notable boxers including Emmanuel “Manny” Rodríguez, Oscar Valdez, Alberto Machado, Jonathan “Bomba” González, and Angel “Tito” Acosta, among others. He accumulated a record of 201 wins and just 25 losses, taking home a silver medal at the Junior Olympics in Quito, Ecuador, and made the second team of the Puerto Rico National Amateur Boxing Team. Rodríguez made his professional debut in 2012, and has since fought 22 times. Amanda Serrano’s newest signee, Alexis “Chop Chop” Chaparro (1-0, 1 KO) most recently took home a first-round KO win over Daniel Augare in his pro debut on Most Valuable Prospects 6 in April 2024. The 23-year-old Chaparro, born in Puerto Rico and raised in Ridgewood, New York, is a three-time national boxing champion who competed at both the 2020 and 2024 USA Boxing Olympic trials. The gifted athlete is also a high fashion model, having worked for Versace, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, and Polo Ralph Lauren, among others. Chaparro joins Serrano’s growing roster of Puerto Rican talents including the young undefeated sensation Krystal Rosado (3-0, 1 KO). Another Tampa local, Ariel “Golden Hulk” Perez (3-0, 2 KOs) returns to the ring following his crowd-raising performance on Most Valuable Prospects 6 in April 2024, set to take on Dane Guerrero (0-0-1) at light heavyweight. Perez dominated in his latest bout against Steven Motley in April, sending Motley staggering multiple times before locking in a stoppage victory in the fourth round. Guerrero, fighting out of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, now looks to add his first professional victory to his record after securing a draw in his professional debut in 2023.

Jake Paul scored a one-punch, first-round stoppage over Andre August in a scheduled eight-round super middleweight bout at The Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

Paul felt August with a jab and then uncorked a perfect right uppercut to the jaw that put August down and out on his back, and the fight was over at 2:32.

On why he took the risk of facing Andre August

“[It was] a big risk big risk and people can be discredited or say what they want but they didn’t get in there with him he’s been doing it his whole life and you look at the guy he’s strong and he’s a risk, especially him not being a big name. Putting all the line against someone like him, everyone thought it was kind of crazy, everyone first thought, what, really? You’re going to do that? Why? Where? What’s going on? What’s the plan here? And it’s just one answer, to become world champion.”

On walking out to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

“We just always had these vibes going in camp, and sometimes we’re playing different music, and one day we were sitting in the backyard, and this pal’s like, it’s Christmas, oh my God, they’ll start playing the Christmas hits. And that first song came on and I was like, this is what I’m walking up to.”

On converting haters to fans with his first-round knockout against a 10-1 pro

“If I was walking on water in front of everybody’s eyes, they would say I couldn’t swim. When you take this path, and you’re in the top of a sport, and you got there in three and a half years with the jealousy and hate and insecure people, all the time, of course, they’re gonna critique and find any little thing that they can to try to bring me down. But what they don’t know is that it’s just making me bigger, just making me stronger, just making me more motivated to go ahead and become world champion. This is one step closer. This guy was 10-1 [and] boxing his whole life. [He was a] three-time Golden Glove champion and he [was finished in] two and a half minutes. And I was just getting woke up for it, so…. shhh. Be quiet, y’all. Be quiet. At some point, you gotta turn that hate and be like, okay, fine, I’m gonna just jump on the bandwagon. All aboard, yo. Like, y’all went from haters and all this shit, like, we welcome everybody. If you hated me before, it’s cool, you know, I forgive you. Come to the fun side. I know you wanna dance to the Christmas jingle I want. I know you’re at home, like, itching like, I can’t, I can’t help it, I wanna dance! So just kick it up! Jump off the bandwagon! Get used to it. Get used to this. I’m gonna be here forever in this sport. Like I said, I predicted all this from the start. I made it happen [with] manifestation of reality. So keep the criticisms coming, but it’s not gonna do anything.”

On his punching power

“My coaches always told me before my first rope, but mainly Shane Mosley, he was like, you got popped, you hit hard, you hit hard. And I didn’t know. [I thought] he was like, you know, just gassing me up or something. Then after I dropped, gave him the first round, I was like, oh shit, okay, maybe I do have his power… And just from that Ohio milk, there’s something different. That stuff is insane. My bone density is on point.”

On Franchón Crews-Dezurn’s WBC super middleweight title win vs. Shadasia Green

“Great job, Franchón. I wish that Shadasia would have gotten it, but… It was a good fight. It was a great fight. Congratulations.

On the biggest thing he’s learned from boxing

“I wish I could summarize that man. It’s been thousands of hours in the gym, but I think more so just believing in myself and my ability, having fun out there, and surrounding myself with the right student. When Thurman, Jalion, and Larry Wade came in, the whole attitude changed and pushed me so much harder than I’d ever been pushed before. And that was really the difference maker. And really my boxing career didn’t start until after I lost because they came in, corrected my basic fundamentals that I had skipped by due to other coaches skipping by it and they pushed me, did thousands of drills on my footwork every single day, getting my mind right, surrounding myself with amazing people, and that really is what elevated everything. So, I just owe it to everyone else, you know, and the people around me, pushing me and wanting the best way.”

On returning to the old Jake Paul

“Yeah, like, just having fun when I’m in that mode, enjoying the sport, you know, dancing around in the ring, making jokes all the time, you know, talking trash to my opponents while I’m hitting them in the face. Before, I was just trying to do things too much and just like making everything perfect, technique, technique, technique, do this, do this, do this, do this. And just everything, the vibe of the can’t change, the coaches, Larry tells me every day, just be you, just bring that old, crazy motherfucker back. And he showed me the video of me with my tongue out, after I KO’d Tyron [Woodley], playing with my cut on my head, and he’s like, this isn’t here anymore, like you need to bring this back. And I just really remember that every day now, like he’s right, I just gotta be fucking crazy and bring back all the problems and the madness and fight like a dog and have fun, and that’s the difference here. You see me in the walkout, dancing in the locker room, messing around with my brother, getting on his shoulders during the broadcast, all of these things is what makes me special, and I just lost that in previous fights.”

On how lesser known boxers can make a name for themselves

“We live in a different boxing world now, in a different digital age in general, and it’s the fighters’ responsibility now to promote themselves. And once they realize that, and realize instead of sitting around on the weekend and playing video games in between the training sessions, they gotta be on TikTok and making YouTube videos and getting out there and going on interviews and podcasts and getting any opportunity they can to grow their name. That’s why I would just encourage everybody else. The promoter is dying. It’s now the responsibility of the fighter. That’s the new boxing world. Just hustle, man. Just hustle.”

On KSI 

“He’s chasing views as a 30-year-old man, and I’m chasing legacy and belts. All kudos to him. I hope he makes his wildest dreams come true.”

On facing Logan in WWE

Crews-Dezurn Decisions Green to win WBC and WBA Interim Super Middleweight Crown

Franchon Crews-Dezurn won the WBC and WBA Interim Super Middleweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Shadasa Green.

Crews-Dezurn landed 78 of 382. Green was 77 of 240.

Dezuen, who was the former undisputed champion and huge underdog won by scores of 98-92 and 97-93 twice and is now 9-2, Greuen, 167.2 lbs of Paterson, NJ is 13-1.

On MVP

“First of all, shout out to MVP. MVP is a great platform for women’s boxing. Shadasia [Green] was a great competitor and I always look to fight against competition. I don’t want it easy, I wasn’t built for easy. And a couple months ago, I didn’t even know what was next, but I think my journey wasn’t over. “The goal has remained the same. I want to go back to the UK. They gave me so much love and it’s a great joy. [My goal is to] go to the UK and run it back with Savannah Marshall. All the way down the line, at least before my last fight, I want to run it with my good sister, Claressa [Shields]. But we’ll see what happens. Maybe I blow up a win, maybe I go down a win. The opportunities are limitless.”

“I would say Shadesia has sharp power, like she’s got sharp inside punches, but Savannah has like leverage, because she’s a very tall, heavy-handed woman. She’s been like that since the amateurs. But yeah, yeah, yeah. I have no disrespect. Savannah is the bigger puncher.”

On settling bad blood with Shadasia Green

“I approached her and you know. I apologized, you know, for what I did, she apologized for what she did. At the end of the day, we two young women pushed into something and her goal was to get her name out there for people to know who she is. She’s accomplished that, she has a great future, she’s a good fighter. I have no ill will towards her. I respect her [and everyone] I share the ring with. “We gonna throw hands regardless, as long as we’re compensated. For me, I’ve been in this game a long time, and I get paid, if I have to fight three minutes, I’m gonna be paid for three minutes. Tellez Stops Navarro in 10th

Yoenis Tellez scored a vicious 10th and final round stoppage of Livan Navarro in a welterweight bout.

In round three, Tellez dropped Navarro with a hard right hand.

In round 10, Tellez landed a booming left hook that froze Navarro and he plummeted to the deck and the fight was stopped.

Tellez, 153.1 lbs of Santiago, CUB is 7-0 with six knockouts. Navarro, 153.8 lbs of Havana, CUB is 15-2.

Lorenzo Medina Stops Temple in 6th

Lorenzo Medina scored a shocking sixth and final round stoppage over Joshua Temple in a heavyweight bout.

In round two, Temple landed a right to the head that put Medina on the canvas.

In round six, Medina landed a left hook that rocked Temple. Temple was hurt, and Medina jumped on Temple and landed a huge flurry of punches and the fight was stopped at 29 seconds.

Medina, 244.4 lbs of Hialeah, FL is 9-0 with eight knockouts. Temple, 221.8 lbs of St. Louis is 12-3.

Elijah Flores remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Javier Mayoral in a welterweight bout.

Flores, 149 lbs of Bronx, NY won by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice and is now 7-0. Mayoral, 148 lbs of New Orleans is 6-4-1.

Alexander Gueche stopped Clayton Ward in round three of their four-round bantamweight bout.

In round four, Gueche landed a big right drove Ward to the ropes. Ward was hurt and could have received an eight-count, but the referee did not ruled that and two big shots later the fight was stopped at 2:05.

Gueche, 116 1/2 lbs of Long Beach, CA is 3-0 with three knockouts. Ward, 116 1/2 lbs of Cypress, TX is 1-1.

Zachary Randolph won a six-round majority decision over Michael Manna in a cruiserweight bout.

In round five, Manna was swelling under both eyes.

Randolph, 186 3/4 lbs of Fairmont, WV won by scores of 60-54, 58-56 and 57-57 and is now 10-3-1. Manna, 191 lbs of Pittsburgh is 7-6.

Jake Paul won a 10-round unanimous decision over Nate Diaz in an entertaining cruiserweight bout in front of a capacity crowd at The American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

In round one, Paul hurt Diaz with a left to the top of the head and had him reeling to ropes as he landed a hard flurry of punches. Diaz made a stand in round four as he landed some shots that drove Paul back. In round five, Paul dropped Diaz with a short left hook to the side of the head.

The second half of the fight saw Diaz be more competitive as he was able to get to Paul several times by landing short shots on the inside that snap the head of Paul. There were several toe-to-toe exchanges that thrilled the boisterous crowd at The American Airlines Arena. The battled it out until the final bell.

Paul landed 174 of 491 punches. Diaz was 143 of 392.

Paul, 185 lbs of Cleveland won by scores of 98-91 twice and 97-92 and is now 7-1. Diaz, 184.9 lbs of Stockton, CA was making his professional boxing debut.

On his training camp for this fight: “I’m a new fighter. The new team we brought in, the new strength and conditioning—- everything was new and I worked harder this camp. It pushed me to my limits. I’ve never fought in a pro fight, so I thought I’d fuck up anybody. The guillotine… that was too easy. The takedown was too easy too – I got the punch, his whole weight was in my chest. In MMA they smash my head and fuck me up. 

I didn’t think I won. I knew he got the knockdown, but I figured I won a good amount of rounds. 

On his boxing debut: I would’ve liked to have trained like I do – when I’m smaller. I was kind of concerned with getting bigger. I didn’t think he was much bigger than me. 

On facing off with Jake Paul in MMA: Yeah, I think I would fight him. It’s easy to take him down. Two, three, four months [from now], I’m ready to rock. We’re going to talk.

Serrano Defends Undisputed Title with Another Decision over Hardy

Amanda Serrano retained the Undisputed Featherweight Title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Heather Hardy in a rematch of a bout that had the same result in 2019.

Serrano battered and bloodied a tough-as-nails Hardy, who took many hard shots. She was able to get through all 10-rounds.

In round one, Serrano came out ripping hard shots to the body and head that made the nose of Hardy to start bleeding.

In round nine, Hard began to bleed from a big gash in her forehead from an accidental headbutt.

Serrano landed 278 of 739 punches. Hardy was 149 of 557.

Serrano, 124.6 lbs of Brooklyn won by scores of 100-90 twice and 99-91 and is now 45-2-1. Hardy, 125.8 lbs of Brooklyn is 24-3-1.

In a battle of former MMA fighters, Chris Avila pounded out an six-round unanimous decision over Jeremy Stephens in a super middleweight fight.

Avila landed 141 of 377 punches. Stephens was 81 of 267.

At the end of round two, Sylve landed perfect left to the body tat put Silva on his back. In round four, Sylve landed another crushing left to the body, but this time Silva did not get up and the fight was over at 2:59.

Shadasia Green Decisions Olivia Curry

Top-Ranked super middleweight contender Shadasia Green won a 10-round unanimous decision over Olivia Curry.

Curry had some success early by boxing and moving, but Green took over the second half of the fight as she landed some booming right hands that Curry took but marked up her face.

Green landed 179 of 385 punches. Curry was 99 of 495.

Green, 166.9 lbs of Paterson, NJ won by scores of 100-89, 100-90 and 99-91 and is now 13-0. Curry, 166.7 lbs of Chicago is 7-2.

Alan Sanchez Decisions Angel Beltran

Alan Sanchez scored an eight-round unanimous decision over Angel Beltran in a welterweight bout.

Sanchez landed 149 of 439 punches. Beltran landed 130 of 451.

Sanchez, 147 lbs of Fairfield, CA won by scores of 79-73, 78-74 and 77-75 and is now 23-5-1. Beltran, 144.4 lbs of Indio, CA is 17-2.

Kevin Newman II won a ight-round unanimous decision over Quilisto Madera in a super middleweight bout.

In round two, Madera began to swell under his left eye.

In round seven, Madera was deducted a point for hitting on the break.

Newman, 161.8 lbs of Las Vegas won by scores of 80-71 and 79-72 twice and is now 15-3-1. Madera, 164.9 lbs of Stockton, CA is 14-4.

Jose Aguayo won a four-round majority decision over Noel Cavazos in a welterweight bout.

In round three, Aguayo was cut over his left eye.

Aguayo, 148.6 lbs of Ventura, CA won by scores of 39-37 twice and 38-38 and is now 1-1. Cavazos, 149.4 lbs of San Ramon, CA is 2-2.

Luciiano Ramos won a four-round unanimous decision over Cee Jay Hamilton in a junior welterweight bout.

Ramos, 140 lbs of Buenos Aries, ARG won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37 and is now 2-3. Hamilton, 136.9 lbs of Hartwell, GA was making his pro debut.

The 10-round matchup will be contested at 168 Ibs at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Green, the former Team USA star who boasts an impressive 12-0 record with 11 KO’s and the record for fastest KO in a women’s fight, joined MVP after a trailblazing few years in the sport. She is currently the mandatory challenger for Undisputed champion Savannah Marshall’s newly earned WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF belts, which sets up a bout that would be the biggest women’s fight in UK history. As a former standout college basketball star, Green spent years as a starter for Old Dominion University (ODU) where she was impressively named Third Team All-CAA and ranked top 20 in the CAA in scoring. The Paterson, NJ native later broke out into the amateur boxing scene when she joined the U.S. National Team as a heavyweight after just five fights, earning a silver medal at the 2016 World Championships in Kazakhstan. In 2019, Green transitioned to professional boxing where she quickly gained notoriety as a top female contender, ranking #1 in the WBC and IBO, and #2 in the WBA, ultimately earning her the Paterson Laila Ali Award.

Curry, the professional boxer out of Chicago, originally hailing from Cincinnati, OH, comes to the ring after winning her last five fights. The 33-year-old began her amateur fighting career in Muay Thai, winning the TBA Classic and fighting the best Class A competition in North America. As an amateur boxer, she won the Chicago Golden Gloves and went on to represent Chicago at the National Golden Gloves three times. Curry was nationally ranked as an elite female and competed at the 2018 USA National Tournament. As a pro, she is ranked in the top 5 middleweight contenders by major sanctioning bodies and The Ring Magazine. Outside the ring, Curry is a commercial filmmaker. She is managed by Trinidad Garcia and Rick Ramos.

The 27-year-old from Mexicali, Mexico is currently training in Indio, CA and is entering this fight after an eight-fight winning streak, following his June knockout of Abraham Afful and unanimous decision upset win against Luis Lopez in March. He is managed by Francisco Garcia.

NEW YORK–In a war, Amanda Serrano became the undisputed featherweight champion with a 10-round unanimous decision in front of a capacity crowd at The Hulu Theater inside Madison Square Garden

The two fighters stood toe to toe with Cruz having early success as she dug her feet in and came forward throwing and landing punches in bunches from all angles. That seemed to befuddle Serrano, who was getting hit cleanly by oncoming shots from Cruz. In round three, Cruz was cut on her forehead from an accidental headbutt. That coincided with Serrano’s foray back inro the fight as she seemed to have a better grasp on how to handle the unorthodox style of Cruz.

In round six, Serrano her Cruz badly with an left and right hook on the inside. There were instances that looked like Cruz was done, but she kept coming forward throwing punches in bunches. Serrano was able to stem the tide and fough through a cut around her right eye in a furious 10th and final round.

The two fighters threw a staggering amount of punches for the 20 minute war as Serrano was 257 of 949. Cruz 202 of 968.

Serrano, 125.4 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 98-92 twice and 97-93 and is now 44-2-1. Cruz, 125.4 lbs of Mexico City fought valiantly in defeat and is now 15-2.

With the win, it paves the way for a much anticipated rematch between Serrano and Katie Taylor that was announced for May 20th.

Baumgardner Decisions Mekhaled to Win Undisputed Junior Lightweight Champion

Alycia Baumgardner became to Undisputed Junior Lightweight champion with an emphatic 10-round unanimous decision over Elhem Mekhaled.

In round three, Baumgardner landed a big chopping right that put Mekhaled on the canvas. With Mekhaled hurt, Baumgardner jumped on Mekhaled and sent her to the canvas for a second time in the round from a huge flurry of punches.

Mekhaled was hurt several times down the stretch, but she showed tremendous resolve as she was able to land some flush punches. In the 10th round, both boxers had moments and also there were several furious exchanges.

Baumgardner landed 141 of 542 punches; Mekhaled was 96 of 404.

Baumgardner, 129 lbs of Detroit won by scores of 99-89 twice and 98-90 and is now 14-1. Mekhaled, 129 lbs of Paris, FRA is 15-2.

Hitchins Decisions Bauza

Richardson Hitchins settled his grudge with John Bauza y winning a lopsided 10-round unanimous decision on their junior welterweight bout.

In round one, Hitchins landed a inside left that had Bauza hit the canvas, which was ruled a knockdown. In round four, Hitchins landed a hard straight right that put Bauza down for a clean knockdown. In round five, the right eye of Bauza began to swell up.

With his face a mess and getting beat up, Bauza landed a hard left that briefly stopped Hitchins in his tracks, but Hitchins rebounded to landed three flush shots to face of Bauza.

Hitchins, 139.6 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 100-88 on all cards and is now 16-0. Bauza, 139 lbs of North Bergen, NJ is 17-1.

Yankiel Rivera Decisions Fernando Diaz

Yankiel Rivera remained undefeated by pounding out an eight-round unanimous decision over Fernando Diaz in a flyweight fight.

Rivera, 112.4 lbs of Bayamon, PR won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74 and is now 3-0. Diaz, 111.8 lbs of Riverside, CA is 11-3-1.

Skye Nicolson remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Tania Alvarez in a featherweight fight.

Nicolson, 126.6 lbs of Queensland, AUS won by scores of 100-90, 98-92 and 97-93 and is now 6-0. Alvarez, 124.8 lbs of Barcelona, SPA is 7-1.

In a battle of previously undefeated super bantamweights, Ramla Ali took a 10-round unanimous decision from Avril Mathie.

Ali, 121.4 lbs of London won by scores of 99-91 on all cards and is now 8-0. Mathie, 121.4 lbs of Sydney, AUS is 8-1-1.

Shadasia Green was impressive in stopping former world champion Elin Cederroos in round six of their scheduled 10[round super middleweight bout.

In round three, Green dropped Cederroos with a perfect overhand right to the jaw.

In round six, Green landed three more booming right hands to the head that had Cederroos wobbling across the ring. Green landed three more flush shots in the corner and the bout was stopped at 1:08.

In a bloody battle, Harley Maderos stopped Julio Madera in the sixth and final round of their lightweight bout.

Maderos battered Madera until his face got more swollen with each round. Maderos showed a bloody mouth in round five. In round six, Maderos landed a hard combination that forced referee Eric Dali to the contest at 25 seconds.

Maderos, 134.2 lbs of Brooklyn is now 5-0 with four knockouts. Madera,133.5 lbs of Mexico City is 4-3.

Aaron Aponte remained undefeated with a eight-round unanimous decision over Joshua David Rivera in a junior welterweight clash.

Aponte, 136.8 lbs of Hialeah Gardens, FL won by scores on all cards and is now 7-0-1. Rivera, 138.8 lbs of La Mesa, CA is 8-2.
