Shannon Ryan scored a highlight-reel second round knockout over Nicola Hopewell in round two of their 10-round super flyweight bout.

In round one, Hopewell started to swell under her left eye. In round two, Ryan uncorked a huge overhand right to the head that put Hopewell down and the towel came flying in which caused the stoppage at 1:01.

Ryan, 114.5 lbs of Watford, ENG is 11-1 with two knockouts. Hopewell, 113 lbs of Northshire, ENG is 8-2.

Junaid Bostan won an eight-round decision over Mohammad Graich in a super welterweight fight.

Louie Ward won a four-round decision over Jesus Carrasco in a super featherweight bout.

In round two, Conway began to bleed from his nostrils.

In round nine, Liddard rocked Conway and dropped him with a flurry that was capped off by a right hand. Liddard continued to pound away and the fight was stopped when towel came in after Liddard landed three more flush right hands at 49 seconds..

Liddard, 159.3 lbs of Billericay, ENG is 13-0 with eight knockouts. Conway, 159.7 lbs of Northampton, ENG is 23-4-1.

Shannon Ryan Decisions Chloe Watson Due to Closed Eye

Shannon Ryan won a technical unanimous Chloe Watson after round four of their 10-round super flyweight bout

In round two, Watson started to swell badly over her right eye. The ight was stopped after round three as the eye completely closed. The damage was caused by an accidental headbutt.

Sains Stops Coleman After 4

Jimmy Sains remained undefeated with a stoppage of Troy Coleman after round four of their 10-round middleweight bout.

In round three, Coleman began to bleed from his nose. In round four, Sains put a beating on Coleman as in the last thirty seconds Coleman as battered and bleeding from around the left eye and the corner stopped the bout.

Sains, 159.6 lbs of Brentwood, ENG is 11-0 with 10 knockouts. Coleman, 159.5 lbs of Burntwood, ENG is 14-4-1.

Tiah-May Ayton stopped Laura Belen Valdebenito in round four of a six-round bantamweight clash.

In round two, Ayton dropped Valdebenito with a right hand.

In round four, it was another right from Ayton that put Valdenbenito on the canvas. When Valdenbenito got to her feet the fight was stopped at 1:59.

Leli Buttigieg won an eight-round decision over Christian Schembri in a middleweight fight.

Buttogieg, 163.1 lbs of Eat London won by a 79-73 score and is now 10-0. Schembri, 163.7 lbs of of Hamron, Malta is 37-13-1.

In round two, Buttigieg was cut on the forehead from a clash of heads.

Taylor Bevan remained perfect with a fifth round stoppage of Lukas Ferneza in a super middleweight contest.

In round five, Bevan landed a left to the jaw that put Ferneza to his knees and the was topped upon him getting up at 1:!7

Bevan, 169.9 lbs of Southampton, ENG is 6-0 with six knockouts. Ferneza, 170.2 lbs of Slovakia is 6-4.

Adam Maca stopped Juan Alberto Batista in the fourth and final round of their super bantamweight fight.

In round four, Maca landed a hard right that hurt Batista. Maca followed up with 13 unanswered punches that forced a stoppage at 1:42.

Maca, 124.5 lbs of Brighton, ENG is 3-0 with three knockouts. Batista, 124.8 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 1-22.

Jermaine Dhilwayo stopped Mario Victorino in round four of their six-round junior lightweight bout.

In round four, Dhilwayo labded a perfect straight left to the solar plexas that put Victorino down for count at 1:23.

Shannon Ryan says she is feeling better than ever before and is ready to deliver a big performance when she faces Chloe Watson this Friday at York Hall – live on the Global Home of Boxing, DAZN.

The vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Flyweight will be on the line and Watford’s Ryan is determined to underline her future hopes of fighting for world titles by adding a big win to her growing resumé – but she knows she faces a tough test in the East End against the former European Champion.

Speaking to Matchroom Boxing, the 28-year-old – nicknamed ‘Kaos’ – said: “I’m feeling great. Mentally, physically, I’m there. I know every fighter says that it’s been their best camp, they’re in the best shape they’re in… but for me, it really is. My journey with Boxing has been a bit of a rollercoaster and I feel like how I am as an athlete now is cemented – hopefully the world will see that this Friday.

“For me, that loss [to Emma Dolan, in June 2024] was the making of me. I realised after that night that it’s such fine margins and it is the one per cents that count and make such a difference. When I look back at it, yes it is sad because nobody wants to lose, but I’m in such a better place now than I was back then. I believe if I fought her again it would be a unanimous decision my way.

“I am unpredictable. I do bring chaos. And every round I bring something completely different. I’m looking forward to it. York Hall is a special venue.”

Dave Allen stopped previously undefeated Johnny Fisher in round five of their 10-round heavyweight rematch at the Copper Box Arena in London England.

Fisher boxed well over the first four-plus round until he ate a thudding combination that was punctuated by a right hand to the top of the heas that put Fisheron the canvas. Fisher was hurt and Allen landed a devastating left hook that plummeted Fisher face-first on the canvas and the towel was thrown in at 3:00.

Fisher, 265 lbs of Dorncaster, ENG is 24-7-2 with 19 knockouts. Fisher, 245.3 lbs of Romford, ENG is 13-1.

The fight was a rematch of Fisher’s controversial split-decision win on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

George Liddard remained undefeated with a fifth round stoppage over Aaron Sutton in a 10-round middleweight bout.

In the first minute of the fight, Liddard dropped Sutton with a big left hook to the jaw. In round two, it was another big left hook that put Sutton on his back. In round five, Liddard ended things with a perfect counter right to the jaw that put Sutton down again and the fight was stopped at 2:20.

Liddard, 159.3 lbs of Billerlcay, ENG is 12-0 with seven knockouts. Sutton, 159.6 lbs of Bristol, ENG is 19-2.

Kieron Conway stopped Gerome Warburton in round four of their 10-round middleweight bout.

In round four, Conway hurt Warburton with a a right to the body. A follow up flurry forced the corner of Warburton to throw in the towel at 1:26.

Cinway, 159.4 lbs of Northampton, ENG is now 23-3-1 with seven knockout. Warburton, 168.5 lbs of Colwyn Bay, WAL is 15-2-2.

John Hedges won a 10-round unanimous decision over Nathan Quarless in a cruiserweight bout.

Hedges, 199.5 lbs of Takeley, ENG 99-92, 98-92 and 97-03 and is 11-0. Quarless, 198.5 lbs of Liverpool is 13-2.

Taylor Bevan remained perfect with an second round stoppage over Juan Cruz Cachero in a six-round super middleweight fight.

Bevan landed a hard flurry along the ropes and the fight was stopped at 1:33.

Bevan, 169.5 lbs of Southampton, ENG is now 4-0 with four knockouts. Cachero, 169.4 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 7-5.

Lelli Buttigieg stopped Novak Radulovic in round three of their six-round middleweight bout.

In round two, Buttgiieg landd a big uppercut that hurt Radullovic. Buttigieg follows up with a flurry that sent Radulovic to the canvas. Radulovic came out for round three but the fight was stopped at 45 seconds.

Buttigieg, 163.6 lbs of Newhan, ENG is 9-0 with three knockouts. Raulovic, 161.1 lbs of Nis, SER is 20-13-1.

Johnny Fisher remained undefeated with an opening round stoppage over Emilio Salas in a eight-round heavyweight bout.

Fisher sent Salas down with an overhand right. Salas got to his feet as the referee reached the count of 10 at

Ellie Scotney won the IBF Super Bantamweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Cherneka Johnson.

Cheavon Clarke stopped David Jamieson in round five of their 10-round cruiserweight fight

In round four, Clarke dropped Jamieson with an uppercut. In round five, Clarke dropped Jamieson again with a hard combination to the head and the fight was stopped at 35 seconds.

Nina Hughes retained the WBA Bantamweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Katie Healy.

Reece Bellotti won a 10-round unanimous decision over Youssef Khoumari in a super featherweight bout.

In round one, Liddard dropped Dzurnak with a body punch. A moment later, Liddard put Dzurnak down with a left hook to the head. Liddard ended things as he jumped on Zurnak and a right hand put Dzurnak down for a third and final time at 2:29.

Matchroom Boxing has further strengthened its growing stable with three new signings: Sheffield’s undefeated IBF Flyweight World Champion Sunny Edwards, Chorley’s Super-Lightweight World Title challenger Jack Catterall and Watford Super-Flyweight prospect Shannon Ryan.

Edwards (19-0, 4 KOs) is determined to unify the Flyweight division before moving on to achieve his goal of becoming a multi-weight World Champion, and the gifted 27-year-old now finds himself in the perfect place for a unification clash with Mexico’s big punching WBC 112lbs ruler Julio Cesar Martinez – a former opponent of his brother Charlie.

Catterall (26-1, 13 KOs) is determined to make up for lost time and challenge for gold at 140lbs once again following his hugely controversial loss to former undisputed Super-Lightweight World Champion Josh Taylor back in February 2022. ‘El Gato’ is itching to get back in the ring to work his way towards World Titles in the competitive 140lbs division. 

Ryan (4-0) is managed by two-time unified Heavyweight World Champion Anthony’s Joshua’s 258, and the former O2 employee has made a perfect start to life in the paid ranks since making her professional debut at Wembley Arena last March, winning all four of her contests in impressive fashion as she looks to become the latest face of women’s boxing.

London, England – 8 March 2022 – Top prospect Shannon Ryan will make her professional debut on Saturday 26th March on the BOXXER Fight Night at the OVO Arena Wembley, live and exclusive on Sky Sports.

Managed by former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua under his banner 258 Management, the Watford hot shot is well versed in combat sports with an extensive career starting in kickboxing when she was five years old, winning multiple international tournaments and culminating in two WAKO titles and recognised as the World’s best at her weight.  Ryan was then given a place on the Team GB Taekwondo squad.

Searching for a new challenge, Ryan then channelled her focus towards using her fists and found boxing where as an amateur she excelled in winning the 2019 Women’s Winter Box Cup and 2018 Alliance Boxing Champion while winning silver at the 2020 London Championships.

Now Ryan is set for professional ranks and the dream of becoming a World Champion.  She will be trained by Gevon Archilbald and will compete in the super-flyweight division.
