Fabio Wardley stopped former world champion Joseph Parker to win the the WBO Heavyweight title in a thrilling fight at The O2 Arena in London.

In round 10, Wardley opened up with a big flurry at the end of the round that caused a cut around the left eye of Parker. In round 11, Wardley landed a similar flurry that had Parker reeling on the ropes, but he seemed to have his senses but the fight was stopped at 1:54.

Wardley, 242.7 lbs of Ipswich, ENG is 20-0-1 with 19 knockouts. Parker, 262.4 lbs of South Auckland, NZ is 36-4,

Uldedaj Decisions Lambert

Juergen Uldedaj won a 12-round unanimous decision over Rolly Lambert in a cruiserweight bout.Ui

Uldedaj, 199.15 lbs of Germany via Albania won by scores of 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110 and is now 21-1. Lambert, 199.8 lbs of Dubai via Cameroon is 18-4-1.

Taylor Stops Woodall in 9

Ezra Taylor remained undefeated with a ninth round stoppage over late replacement Steed Woodall in a light heavyweight bout.

Taylor dominated the fight against the game Woodall. In round nine, Taylor opened up on Woodall with a flurry of power shots on the ropes that forced the corner to throw in the towel at

Taylor, 173.9 lbs of Nottingham, ENG is 13-0 with nine knockouts. Woodall, 174.9 lbs of Birmingham, ENG is 20-4-1.

Barney-Smith Decisions Quartermaine

Royston Barney-Smith won a 10-round unanimous decision over Danny Quartermaine in a super featherweight bout.

In round seven, Quartermaine was deducted a point for holding. In round 10, Barney-Smith dropped Quartermaine with a right hook.

Barney-Smith won by scores of 98-90 and 100-88 twice and is now 15-0. Quartermaine is now 13-1-1.

Smith Decisions Dawson

Mitchell Smith won an eight-round decision over Arnie Dawson in a lightweight bout.

At the end of the opening round, Smith landed a big right over the top that cracked Dawson the jaw and sent him to the canvas.

Smith, 134.2 lba of London won by scores of 98-91 and 96-93 twice and is now 19-1. Dawson, 134.14 lbs of Clacton, ENG is 8-1.

Simpson (15-0, 10 KOs) is the latest boxing star to emerge from South Yorkshire. Following in the footsteps of modern greats including Naseem Hamed, Kell Brook, Clinton Woods and Johnny Nelson, the undefeated 28-year-old will be looking to forge his own legacy having put his hometown of Barnsley on the boxing map with a dominant display to capture the British and Commonwealth Titles in August.

Fighting in front of a sold-out crowd at Oakwell Stadium, Simpson proved his pulling power and boxing prowess by dethroning reigning champion Zak Chelli via a unanimous points decision.

Simpson will be making the first defence of his belts against Birmingham’s Woodall (19-2-1, 12 KOs) and can expect a tough ride from the 30-year-old known as ‘The Stallion’, who will be full of confidence having claimed a career best win over the previously unbeaten Lerrone Richards in June.

Dubois (10-0, 5 KOs), considered by many as the number one prospect in women’s boxing and heir apparent to Katie Taylor’s throne, returns to Yorkshire having dropped and defeated Maira Moneo to claim the WBC Interim Lightweight Title at Oakwell Stadium in August.

The 23-year-old is targeting an all-British unification clash with Doncaster’s Terri Harper, the current WBO lightweight champion, but must first get past former super lightweight world title challenger Camara (14-4, 3 KOs), the highly ranked Canadian, who will be looking to derail the young Londoner’s promising career.

(Aug. 1, 2023) — Two international fight cards will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. this Friday on ESPN+. 

The fistic fireworks begin at Falls Park in Belfast, as undefeated super middleweight Padraig McCrory takes on Steed Woodall in the 10-round main event. 

The action continues later that evening as Puerto Rican welterweight Derrieck Cuevas battles hometown hero Alberto Mosquera in a 10-rounder at Coliseo de Combates in Panama City, Panama.

McCrory-Woodall and undercard contests will stream live beginning at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.

Cuevas-Mosquera and undercard bouts will stream live starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. 

McCrory (17-0, 9 KOs) made his pro debut in June 2017 with a decision win over Jacob Lucas. He captured his first regional title four years later with a fifth-round TKO against Sergei Gorokhov. He defended it twice, including a fifth-round TKO victory against former world title challenger Marco Antonio Periban. In October 2022, the 35-year-old stopped then-unbeaten German contender Leon Bunn in six rounds, and he’s coming off a 10-round decision win over Diego Ramirez on the May undercard of the Luis Alberto Lopez-Michael Conlan featherweight title showdown in Belfast. Woodall (18-1-1, 11 KOs) is a nine-year pro who suffered an early-career defeat against Steve Rolls in 2015. He has not lost since. The 29-year-old is coming off an eight-round decision win over Boris Crighton in April.

He bounced back with a TKO win against Esneiker Correa two years later and is coming off a second-round knockout victory against Damian Rodriguez in April. Mosquera (28-5-2, 16 KOs) unsuccessfully challenged for an interim title against unbeaten Brunet Zamora in October 2011. He’s since fought a who’s who of welterweight standouts, including Erick Bone, Sammy Vasquez and Rashidi Ellis. The 36-year-old veteran returns after a six-round decision win against Leonardo Espinal in February.
