Figueroa Stops Perdomo After 4

ATLANTIC CITY–Just Figueroa stopped Jose Edgardo Perdomo after round four of their eight-round junior middleweight bout at The Tropicana Hotel.

Late in round four, Figueroa dropped Perdomo with a left hook to the head. the fight was halted after the round by the corner of Perdomo.

Figueroa, 154 lbs of Atlantic City is 14-0 with 11 knockouts. Perdomo, 153 lbs of Uruguay is 9-8.

Otto Wallin stopped Chris Thomas in a round two of their 10-round heavyweight bout.

Wallin dropped Thomas with a left to the body and the fight was stopped at 1:100.

Bruce Seldon Jr. won a six-round unanimous decision over Jose Medina in a heavyweight bout.

Josh Popper stopped Trevor Kotara in round three of their four-round heavyweight bout.

Popper dropped Kotara in rounds two and three. The fight was stopped after the second knockdown at 2:20/

Lia Lewandowski won a six-round majority decision over Chamtell Sumrall in a super bantamweight bout.

Lewandowski, 122 lbs of Berlin. NJ won by scores of 58-56 twice and 57-57 and is now 3-0. Sumrall, 122 lbs of Dallas is 1-2-1.

Nathan Lugo went the distance for the first time in winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Diego Ferreira Lablonski in a light heavyweight bout.

Patrick O’Connor stopped Anthony Trejo in round one of their four-round cruiserweight bout.

In round one, O’Connor landed a right that was followed by a left to the body that Trejo down. The fight was stopped upon Trejo getting to his feet at 2:20.

O’Connor, 200 lbs of Waldorf, MD is 3-0 with three knockouts, Trejo, 186 lbs of Chula Vista, CA is 2-1.

Yoel Angeloni won a six-round unanimous decision over Brandon Diaz-Campos.

Angeloni, 150 lbs of Las Vegas won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 7-0. Diaz-Campos,

Elijah Lugo won a six-round unanimous decision over Josue Silva in a middleweight bout.

Matias Stopped Valenzuela in 8

The hellacious volume punching of Subriel Matias was the catalyst to an eighth-round stoppage of Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela of their 12-round junior lightweight bout in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

In round four, the left eye from Valenzuela began to bleed from the constant landed punches of Matias. At the end of the round the swelling under the eye was very bad.

In round eight, Valenzuela finally succumbed to the pressure as he went down from a flurry and the fight was stopped upon getting to his feet at 2:55.

Santaigo Stops Fortuna After 9

Alfredo Santiago stopped former world champion Javier Fortuna in round nine of their 10-round junior welterweight bout.

In round eight, Santiago scored a knockdown with a left hook. After the round, Fortuna’s corner halted the bout. The official time was one second of round nine.

Ndongeni Upsets Bravo

Xolisani Ndongeni scored a mild upset by winning a 10-round split decision over previously undefeated Nestor Bravo in a super lightweight bout.

In round two, Bravo landed a left hook to the side of the head that had Ndongeni stumbling to the canvas.

Ndongeni, 140 lbs of Duncan Village, SA won by scores of 98-92 and 05-94 while Bravo won a card 97-92.

Ndongeni s 33-6. Bravo, 140 lbs of Arecibo, PR is 23-1.

Pryce Taylor stops Kotara in the 1st Round

Pryce Taylor scored three knockdowns en-route to an opening round stoppage over Trevor Kotra in a six-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Taylor landed a left to the body that Kotara on the canvas. Taylor put Kotara down again with a flurry of punches in the corner. Taylor ended things with another flurry in the corner that was capped by a left to the head and the fight was stopped at 2:12.

Taylor, 267.2 lbs of Brooklyn is 7-0 with five knockouts. Kotara, 235.4 lbs of Gilbert, AZ is 4-4-1.
