Casino Hotel Maryland in Hanover, Maryland, and broadcast in real time on ProBoxTV (7:00 pm EDT/4:00 pm PDT).

And in the chief supporting bout, 21-year-old Washington, DC-based welterweight prospect David “The Bodysnatcher” Whitmire (11-0, 8 KOs) will take his toughest test to date against Albuquerque veteran Jose Luis “Guerro” Sanchez (14-6-2, 4 KOs).

Tickets to attend ProBoxTV’s “The Contender Series” in person at Live! Casino Hotel Maryland in Hanover are available by clicking HERE.

Now living in Paramount, California, but originally hailing from Tsetserleg, Mongolia, Tsendbaatar Erdenebat competed for his native country in the 2020 Tokyo and 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, and won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games before turning professional in 2018.

Erdenebat is a ProBoxTV veteran, having already appeared five times in the proving grounds of the Future Stars and Contender Series. In February of last year, the 29-year-old southpaw captured the WBA Central Asia Lightweight title with a dominant TKO victory over Mexico’s (then 15-1-2) Pedro Bernal in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, marking his first time fighting on home soil and fulfilling his dream of winning a title in his native Mongolia. Erdenebat was last seen scoring a short-notice unanimous 10-round decision over ultra-tough Mexican contender Abraham Montoya in November of last year, live on ProBoxTV.

Originally from Bridgetown, Barbados, and now living in the DMV, 34-year-old Cobia Breedy was a standout amateur boxer who made his country’s 2024 Olympic team but did not compete due to a shoulder injury. Breedy has trained out of Barry Hunter’s HeadBangers Gym in Washington DC for the past couple of years, having relocated to the area prior to turning pro in 2014.

Breedy’s only career loss came to a different Mongolian Olympian, 2012 Olympic Gold medallist Tugstsogt Nyambayar, in September 2020. Although Breedy went down in rounds one and two, he battled back to lose a tight split decision in a world title eliminator, televised live on Showtime. Breedy has sparred with pound-for-pound entrants Shakur Stevenson and Gervonta Davis. He was last seen in the ring stopping 19-4 Dexter Marques in October of last year.

Several other exciting Future Stars series bouts are scheduled, featuring several local and national prospects.

In a six-round welterweight showcase, 21-year-old phenom Benjamin Johnson (7-0. 7 KOs) of Springdale, Maryland will face battle-hardened Lesther “El Negrito Explosivo” Espino (10-8, 8 KOs) of Managua, Nicaragua.

Charles “LOLO” Harris Jr. (11-1, 7 KOs) of Rialto, California, will return against Schereville, Indiana’s Blake Fialka (2-2-1, 1 KOs) in a super lightweight six-rounder; 22-year-old former amateur standout Jordan “Iceman” Roach (7-0, 2 KOs) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, will take on Holman “La Pulga” Matamoros (2-1) of Matagalpa, Nicaragua in a super flyweight six-rounder; 25-year-old Washington, DC southpaw Jay Stancil III (4-0, 1 KO) will continue his development against Nicolas Daniels (0-1) of Westland, Michigan, in a featherweight four-rounder, and in a women’s six-round bantamweight tussle, Rianna Rios (10-0, 2 KOs) of San Antonio will test herself against Elena “Guerrerita’ Ventura (9-11-2, 2 KOs) of San Antonino Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca, Mexico.

In a very special added attraction, former amateur champion and brand-new ProBox Promotions signee “Razor” Ramon Ordonez of Newark, New Jersey, will make his highly anticipated pro debut against Carlos Davila Villalobos (1-1) of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

Before turning professional, 19-year-old southpaw Ordonez was one of the United States’ top amateurs, making it to the US national team in 2025 while competing at the World Championships in England and the World Boxing Cup in Brazil as the youngest boxer on the squad. A five-time national champion, Ordonez had his first amateur bout at age eight and fought in more than 50 bouts, with most coming in national tournaments.

Ordonez, whose parents hail from Arecibo, Puerto Rico, says his goal is to become the next Puerto Rican superstar, following in the footsteps of his favorites, Felix “Tito” Trinidad and Miguel Cotto.

On fight night, doors open at 3:30 pm EDT and the first fight starts at 4:00 pm EDT. The Hall at Live! Casino Hotel Maryland is located at 7002 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover, Maryland. Free Parking for All Events. All Ages to Enter, Must Be 21+ To Drink.

Erdenebat Defends Home Turf Against Bernal in WBA Central Asia Title Clash

This Saturday in Mongolia, hometown favorite Tsendbaatar Erdenebat will square off against Mexico’s Pedro Bernal Rodríguez for the WBA Central Asia Lightweight Championship in a high-stakes international clash.

Erdenebat, known as “Chinggis Khaan,” has built a reputation as a devastating puncher, boasting an undefeated record of 11-0 with 10 knockouts. After making waves in the United States with impressive victories against quality opposition, he now returns to Asia for the first time since 2023. Remarkably, this will be his first-ever fight in Mongolia, having previously only competed on the continent in China.

Standing in his way is Pedro Bernal Rodríguez, a battle-tested Mexican fighter with a 14-1-2 record. Bernal has split his career between Mexico and Canada, steadily climbing the ranks with an impressive unbeaten streak that dates back to 2019. His momentum and resilience could prove key as he looks to pull off an upset on foreign soil.

This fight promises fireworks, as Erdenebat’s raw power will be tested against Bernal’s aggressive Mexican style and relentless determination. With two vastly different approaches to the sport, fans can expect an intense battle where neither fighter will back down.

MONGOLIAN KNOCKOUT ARTIST TSENDBAATAR “CHINGGIS KHAAN” ERDENEBAT RETURNS TO SONY HALL IN TIMES SQUARE TO FACE YOHAN VASQUEZ TOMORROW NIGHT

NEW YORK (December 15, 2023) Tomorrow night at New York’s Sony Hall, DiBella Entertainment fighter Tsendbaatar Erdenebat steps into the ring to face Yohan “La Fiera” Vasquez, headlining “Holiday Fight Night 2”. Erdenebat (7-0, 3 KOs), from Tsetserleg, Mongolia, will put his undefeated record on the line when he takes on the tough and tested Vasquez (25-4, 20 KOs).

The fight will stream live and free at videos.boxinginsider.com. The card is promoted by Larry Goldberg’s Boxing Insider Promotions.

It has been a busy and active year for the southpaw Erdenebat, who is fighting for the fourth time in 2023. He is coming off of a 10-round points victory against Wensong Liu (11-2-1, 8 KOs) in September. The 27-year-old Mongolian prospect has been matched tough throughout his short career, fighting in his first 10-rounder in only his second pro bout.

Vasquez, who hails from The Bronx, NY, by way of the Dominican Republic, is coming off of a hard-fought 10-round decision loss to Filipino Charly Suarez (16-0, 9 KOs) in Tulsa, OK.

“I want to end the year strong,” said Erdenebat. “I am facing an opponent that hasn’t lost by knockout. Hopefully, I am going to come out victorious and give him his first knockout loss. I’m not going to force it. If it comes naturally, great. If not, I will use my skills, experience and power to dominate all of the rounds. I’m prepared for a full eight-round fight.

“I want to make a good impression in this fight so that I will have bigger and tougher opposition in the future,” he continued. “To get there, I know I need to make a statement with this fight.”

“This is an important fight for Tsendbaatar competing in his first main event against an experienced foe,” said Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment. “With his vaunted power, fearless attitude, and fan-friendly style, Tsendbaatar creates excitement whenever he fights and he has the potential to become a world class contender.”

Erdenebat grew up on the countryside steppes of the Mongolian grassland, living a nomadic lifestyle with his family, herding horses and livestock, which helped him to develop his lauded strength. As an amateur, Erdenebat was a two-time Olympian, competing in the 2016 Rio Games and 2020 Tokyo Games. Accumulating an impressive 147-41 record, Erdenebat won 11 Mongolian National titles, as well as gold medals at the AIBA Asian Championships twice, the 2018 Asian Games, and a bronze medal at the 2019 AIBA World Championships.

Tickets for “Holiday Fight Night 2” start at $95 and are available via ticketmaster.com. Doors to Sony Hall open at 6:30pm, and first bell is at 7:30pm.

MONGOLIAN KNOCKOUT ARTIST TSENDBAATAR “CHINGGIS KHAAN” ERDENEBAT MAKES HIS BROADWAY BOXING DEBUT TONIGHT

New York, NY (April 27, 2023) – Touted Mongolian knockout artist Tsendbaatar “Chinggis Khaan” Erdenebat (5-0, 3 KOs), signed to DiBella Entertainment earlier this year, will make his Broadway Boxing debut tonight, live streamed globally on DAZN. The event begins at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT.

Erdenebat grew up on the countryside steppes of the Mongolian grassland, living a nomadic lifestyle with his family, herding horses and livestock, which helped him to develop his lauded strength. His admiration for boxing began by watching Mike Tyson fights as a child and he had his first amateur bout at age 10.

He turned pro in September 2018 in China and made his US debut earlier this year in his first fight under the DiBella Entertainment banner. On February 23, Erdenebat earned a thrilling third-round stoppage victory against Giovanni Gutierrez, at Sony Hall, in Times Square, New York City. He is now trained by Manny Robles out of Legends Boxing Academy in Los Angeles, CA.

Erdenebat returns to Sony Hall tonight to take on fellow southpaw Edy Valencia Mercado (20-9-6, 7 KOs), of Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, in an eight-round bout. The vacant NABF Junior super featherweight title will be on the line. Mercado, a Mexican featherweight titlist, went the distance with former world champion Jessie Magdaleno last May and has never been knocked out. Both fighters weighed in at 130 pounds. In preparation for this fight, Tsendbaatar spent part of his training camp working as a sparring partner for Ryan Garcia ahead of the Gervonta Davis fight.

“Tsendbaatar is a beast. He’s a fearless fighter with real knockout power and swagger. He has the potential to become a world champion. Together with his managers, Max Alperovich and Bulgantamir Enkh-erdene, we will provide him with the right opportunities to get there,” said Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment. “I’m thrilled that his Broadway Boxing debut will be seen by a worldwide audience on DAZN.”

“I am so happy to be in this position right now. Working with a world-renowned promoter like DiBella Entertainment is a dream come true,” said Erdenebat. “I have been building toward this dream ever since I was a kid. It has been two months since I arrived and started training in the US and now I am about to fight for the second straight time in New York City. I can’t wait to put on another explosive performance for everyone at Sony Hall and those watching on DAZN. Watch me become the first to knock my opponent out and in devastating fashion.”

“Tsendbaatar is an all-action fighter,” said co-manager Max Alperovich. “He is like a mix between Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao. I am happy to be working again with Lou DiBella. I know that he will bring Tsendbaatar along the right way. Tsendbaatar is always well prepared and ready for any level opponent. The featherweight and super featherweight divisions should be put on notice. We are coming for the title belts.”

“I first met Tsendbaatar in the Mongolian nationals. I was fighting as a heavyweight at the time. When I moved to the US in 2019, I knew that I could be the one to help Tsendbaatar realize his gift and become the champion I know he’s capable of becoming. After reuniting with him, I worked to make the right connections and bring him to the US,” said co-manager Bulgantamir Enkh-erdene. “I’m thrilled to be working with DiBella Entertainment and can’t wait to see what the future brings. Tonight is his introduction to Broadway Boxing. Those sparring sessions he had with Ryan Garcia were high level and intense. I am excited to see what will happen this evening against an experienced opponent.”

A MONGOLIAN OLYMPIAN, AN IRISH REVIVAL, A FORMER WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION, & A NEW YORK CITY GRUDGE MATCH, ALL ON APRIL 27 AT SONY HALL TIMES SQUARE, NY, NY

New York, NY, March 29, 2023 – – BoxingInsider returns for its fourth promotion in 6 months with Broadway Boxing, a card stacked full of local and international talent. Boxinginsider is thrilled to once again work with Hall of Fame promoter Lou DiBella’s DiBella Entwetainment to promote this Broadway Boxing show. This episode features former Mongolian Olympian Tsendbaatar “Chinggis Khaan” Erdenebat, former women’s world champion Miyo Yoshida against Indeya Smith, local boxers Sydney Mccow, Christian Oltero, and Ireland’s Larry Fryers. They will all lace’em up on Thursday, April 27 at Sony Hall, in the heart of Times Square, Manhattan.

The April 27 event, promoted by BoxingInsider Promotions in association with DiBella Entertainment

“Its crazy to think this is our 4th show since October, in Manhattan,” said BoxingInsider’s Larry Goldberg. “My goal from day 1 has been simple – to put on the best fights with local and international talent and to expose those to the largest possible audience online with quality production. We have a mix of world class fighters and down and dirty slugfests scheduled for this show and there will be 2 more fights to announce in the coming days.”

2021 Mongolian Olympian Tsendbaatar “Chinggis Khaan” Erdenebat (5-0, 3 KOs) will be in an eight-round super featherweight bout against an opponent to be named. Tsendbaatar’s last bout was a third round TKO win on February 23 at Sony Hall.

Former World Champion Miyo “Miyo Musashi” Yoshida (15-3) was born in Kagoshima, Japan and now resides in New York, NY. Prior to becoming world champion in 2019, Miyo won the Japan Boxing Commission title and the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation title. As world champion, Miyo made one successful defense, then lost the title by technical decision (stoppage due to gash over eye), then won it back in a rematch six months later. In her last fight she lost the WBO title via split decision.

Indeya Smith (6-6, 1 KO) from Dallas, TX via New Orleans, made her BoxingInsider Promotions debut on December 21 with an upset win over Sulem Urbina, dominating the bout from the opening bell.

Sydney “The Jackal” Mccow (8-8, 3 KOs) born in St Maarten now residing in Brooklyn is coming off a five-fight streak of four wins sandwiched around a no decision. Christian “Veneno” Otero (4-3, 2 KOs) from New York, NY, made his pro debut on October 31, 2020 and his career began with four straight victories.

In one of the most exciting matches a club show could make, this bout features a real-life NYC grudge match between Church St. Boxing trainer and boxer Mccow and fellow New Yorker Otero. The dislike here is real and born in the gym as these two went to war in sparring. Edited footage showing a Mccow beatdown soon hit social media which started an issue that must be solved in the ring, for real.

Joshua David “Pretty Boy” Rivera (8-2, 3 KOs) from La Mesa, California, made his pro debut in 2018 and his first nine fights took place in Tijuana. His last bout, in Madison Square Garden on the Serrano-Cruz February 4 card, was a unanimous decision loss against an undefeated Aaron Aponte.

Larry “Lethal” Fryers (11-6, 4 KOs) was born in Clones, Ireland and now resides in Yonkers, NY. “I love fighting in New York,” said Fryers. “It’s top class and can’t wait for April 27th to fight there again and put on a show for the fans.” Fryers won eleven of his first twelve fights after making his pro debut in 2016. As an amateur, he was an Ireland Nationals U 21 finalist and a U23 semi-finalist.  “Lethal” has a large Irish following and is eyeing another chance at glory.

Streaming and additional match information will be announced shortly.
